Love this State Park. The campsites are large, some pull through sites right on the lake. The only disadvantage is there are No sewer connections. Nice clean restrooms. Across the street there is a nice level trail to Hemlock Falls, about 3 miles out and...More

Enjoyed our first trip in our new RV. Bathrooms were very clean. The hike to the nearby hemlock falls was beautiful. The office staff were extremely pleasant.

An easy well maintained trail to the falls. Plus a great wading/swimming hole at the falls. Take a picnic lunch.

We discovered this park on our way to another destination, and are so glad we stopped to visit. We plan on coming back to spend more time here for sure. Stunning views nestled in the North Georgia mountains, a rushing creek that flows into a...More

Campsites are a little too close together for my taste but Moccasin Creek State Park is a well run and nicely maintained campground worthy of 5 stars. My group of 10 and I enjoyed our experience there immensely. The staff is friendly and very helpful....More

Pardon my lack of reference having never visited a US camp ground, but my overall experience of Moccasin Creek was positive. The stands were each able to take a couple of tents and a truck and had water and electric hook ups. Wifi was available...More

Beautiful place and hatchery is nice visit especially with kids. Lake is beautiful. Ponds for kids and trout stream restricted to young and old only. Public boat launch with single ramp and limited parking.

Really well maintained and beautiful grounds. Sites are pretty close together but neighbors are always friendly. Some pretty tight rules about fishing and swimming (no fishing in the creek if you're under 65 or over 11, no swimming anywhere) but its very quiet and peaceful....More
