In my opinion, $5 is too much to charge for viewing 1 room of quilts and a smaller room of aprons. Should be called Carrollton Quilt Museum, as this does not represent the SOUTHEAST.

The museum has a new exhibit every three months. Quilts come from all areas of the state of Georgia. Generally twenty to thirty quilts are displayed. During the year many excellent and varied types of quilts are shown.

The collection of quilts vary from contemporary true works of art to fascinating historic quilts dating from the 19th century, most of which have known backgrounds. One example is a "crazy quilt" from circa 1885 with briar-stitching and patches of Confederate uniform, with wool batting.
