Founded in 1961, the Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Gardens holds an art collection focusing primarily on American representational sculpture, with over 200 works by Czech-born American sculptor Albin Polasek. The museum also offers guided tours of the historic Polasek residence and chapel, an outdoor sculpture garden and a gift shop. The museum is the retirement home of 2004 Artists Hall of Fame recipient Albin Polasek, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is one of only 30 members of the National Trust’s Historic Artists’ Homes and Studios.

Our docent was fantastic! We knew almost nothing about the artist, but thanks to the docent we learned so much about who he was by touring his home, and his seeing his work, we now feel like we practically have met Albin Polasek.

Loved this one. The gardens and sculptures are so enjoyable to stroll around. The dock on the lake had amazing views. Wandering around inside they have a good bit of art to look at. Very nice staff and definitely worth a stroll.

Immaculate gardens over looking winter park lakefront,,,,,,good artwork and very accommodating hosts,in the heart of winter park,excellant for afternoon tour or sunset dinner with larger groups

Take the house tour, then stroll the gardens and you will be enthralled with all of the interesting sculptures and the story behind them and the main who made them.

Hi Renee, If you head east from the museum (turning left instead of right when you leave), you'll find plenty other restaurant options.

It was $4 for seniors. I believe the admission price is on their website. It's often under "Plan your visit."
