Our 3 times a week walk is here! Love the Fitness stations.

After shoulder surgery needed to exercise and found this special spot. Use all the fitness stations, such a good reminder. Best part it is shaded, lots of huge old trees, so not too much sun and cooler. Even now with using our masks during covid, most people respect on another! Great find!

Great place to exercise in the shade

I enjoy walking for exercise but don't enjoy walking on streets or sidewalks. The fitness trail is great because it winds through the trees. Sure beats walking around an oval track.

Love This Trail

This is one of the best trail for walking. The trail loops around and not walking in straight line. Benches in different areas and different exercise skills you can do along the way. Stairs, pullups, beams, etc. Also you can sit and look over the river or bring a picnic lunch.

Great in Shape under the Shade

Just a lovely place to run or walk. A nice 2 mile round trip trail with compacted shells. There are tennis courts and also fitness activities to perform on the walk. A really nice slide system playground for the kiddos. Most of the walk is under shade. A lot of it is serpentine under live oaks. Sometimes I've found painted rocks here!

Great location for recreation

This came up as a location of interest on a different Trip Advisor search. As with most things on our vacation in Vero Beach, it was about 20-25 minute drive, but well worth it. The location is beautiful and it has tennis courts, handball/racquetball court, a boat ramp, and green space with paths. I enjoyed the run on the fitness trail, though I did not stop to do the fitness challenges. It was through shade and snaked around so that it was an interesting run instead of the flat endless sidewalk I had been running while on vacation. I also felt more secure since there were many other like minded people and families and I did not have to worry about geckos and snakes and whatever else coming out of the trees :-) The path is a crushed shell/sand mixture that is soft but compacted. The trail says it is a mile, but my Apple Watch and another app I use tracked it as .87, then you return back to the starting point for what should be a two mile run or walk. I will definitely be going back for the remainder of my vacation.

Get fit in the shade.

Great fitness walk. Mostly shaded by huge oak trees. There are also Tennis courts and handball court. Restroom and water fountain.

Riverside Park Trail Great for a Walk, Run or Event

Assuming this is the Riverside Park Trail, this is a local favorite. A one mile path loops around old live oaks and palms. Lots of events throughout the year--including a great 4th of July Fireworks display over the lagoon.

Awesome place to walk in VB

A great place to walk on hard pack sand/shell surface under partial shade. One mile out and return for 2 mile circuit. Fitness stations along the way for extra "fun". Further walking nearby across the foot bridge to Memorial Island for a nice view of the Indian River.

So Much Fun

This trail is about a one mile trail, each way. The trail measures every quarter of a mile. There are about many fitness activities along the way, such as push-ups, stretching, jumping-jacks, pull-ups and more. These are at stopping points for you to complete as you walk/run, you do not have to complete if you don not want to. They are off the trail in a nice little sections some re just signs. Then there is the "No Bikes Allowed" policy makes the trail easy and worry-free. In addition to the trail, there are tennis courts, racquet ball courts, and play grounds. There is a lot of parking and there are bathrooms there. The bathrooms are surprisingly clean.
