I had the chance to visit this park and walk along the edge of the water just the other day and found it very peaceful. Still water, aging boat docks, palm trees, and dog walkers make this park serene and welcoming. Careful not to fall...More

This is a small park with lots of beauty. Most people walk and jog around. I took my son here to fish from the seawall. We caught ladyfish, redfish, and he caught his first flounder!

We first visited here on a Sunday afternoon looking for manatees. We saw several but the real joy was the park. There are stone walls and walkways surrounding the water and there were numerous families fishing and picnicking. There is plenty of shade beneath giant...More

The park is kept very clean and is a beautiful walk. There are some really cool trees with low lying and gnarly branches, a pretty mermaid statue, lots of benches and nice areas to picnic. They also have a playground that my toddler really liked,...More

We walked over the the Sponge Dock to escape the crowds and were rewarded with a quiet spot to sit in the water with manatee visible and gorgeous homes. Worth a look.

Walking and view were great. Cool day but the sunshine was lovely. Saw 2 small sting rays and a brief manatees sighting. Worth the trip off the beaten path.

An Amazing place where you can launch a boat, kayak or paddle board, play tennis, bike or just enjoy a gorgeous view of the waterfront bayou featuring gnarly Oak Trees with spanish moss and even a visiting manatee or dolphin at times. Sunsets are great...More

Great walkway around the water. Unfortunately we didn't see any manatees on this visit, although our friends have seen them there.

This is a great place to walk, picnic, fish and see the manatees. Beautifully manicured lawns and lots of space to wander. We walked here everyday from our rental and enjoyed every moment.

it is a nice kayak ride in the Bayou, but the hotel next to it is a dump. looks nice on the outside but oh my, inside is disgusting. There's hotels on hwy 19 that are decent.
