Our Tahoe stay at the Heavenly Purple was brief but exceptional. The home is impeccably clean, elegantly furnished, has comfortable beds and a nice kitchen complete with cooking equipment. The location is the best on the hill. We took the bus to the casinos and...More

This park must be smoking hot in the summer. Hardly any shade and virtually no walking paths. Just the playground was good, but wide open with no cover. Plenty of other parks to stop at in the Tarpon area besides this one. Maybe just good...More

Stopped to see if we could find some gators, but no luck. Nice boardwalk and picnic sites, it is free and certainly worth a stop. I’m surprised by the size of the lake. A fisherman said there was a big gator that just swam by...More

Really good place for a stroller walk. No paved paths, good trails. Saw tons of animals, alligators and huge birds. Lots of open space and pretty to walk along the water.

Anderson park has so much to offer anyone seeking outdoor pleasure. Plenty of boardwalk trails that get you access to Tarpon Lake to view plenty of wildlife and some monster Alligators. Beautiful picnic sites for a couple or a crowd.

A beautiful park on Lake Tarpon with loads of lovely paths, a boat put in with parking for cars/trucks and trailers, plenty of picnic spots and a great playground...one for kids and one for dogs.

As others have responded, there is a nice dog park, and leashed dogs are permitted in other areas of the park as well. Owners must take responsibility for "pooper scooping".

No fee, all free unless you're using the car park from where boats are launched as far as I remember.
