We walk here a lot, probably every other weekend for much of the year. Every single leg of the trail has something to offer, I would suggest you explore all of it over time.

My friend showed me this great trail on an evening ride from the Bay Bayou RV park. There were different areas you could park in the shade and ride. I noticed at least one of the lots you had to pay $2 to park (Wilisky?)...More

I have biked here and enjoyed it plenty. I have had two different friends deal with thugs when the Town and Country trail was nearing dusk. So, I suggest traveling on the trail when it is busy. Drink plenty of water.

This is one of my favorite traits for a quick run or bike. Nice variation on terrain with small elevation changes, curves, shaded in areas, water and clean bathrooms. I use this Trail regularly for training. Weekend mornings can be busy with families and kids,...More

Upper Tampa Bay Trail offers a well maintained asphalt trail which takes you away from traffic and urban noise. Trail offers both shade and sunshine, and also provides a degree of undulation. The trail is always kept clean and is well marked.

Nice wide path from Old Memorial and W. Waters Avenue for miles past Citrus Park north. The path is generally off the main roads, quiet, trees but easy access to the local area.

One of the most exciting things about moving to Westchase was certainly the Upper Tampa Bay Trail. It is a perfect bike/hiking path which is mostly at grade. The heartbreak comes when you ascend the cross-way at Citrus Park Drive but the rest of the...More

The section from Van Dyke Road to the Suncoast Trail is wonderful. You can continue on the Suncoast if you want.a longer ride. Winter is always better unless you ride at 7 am in the summer.
