I will not be renewing the passes
Every year I renew with Universal Orlando annual passes but this year I decided to get the Busch Gardens annual passes. The first visit was done in April and it was nice and not so packed. After that, whenever we go there is always a problem. The second time we went was extremely packed (but not as packed as Universal gets) and disorganized. This park is small and doesn’t have the capacity to have large amounts of crowds. The parking was so disorganized and there was no help at all. I would ask a park attendant (he was the only one attending the parking) and he didn’t know to answer the questions I was asking, which was where should I park (after 30 minutes going in circles because there was a two way road but everyone was driving as if it was a one way road. To find a parking you would have to circle around many times because no one is directing you to the parking. Anyway, after the parking we get in the trolly to go to the park and the signs inside the park tells you to go one way for a ride and when you get there there is no ride. You end up going in circles. (This park is like a maze.) We went again to Busch to have fun on our vacation again, and was very disappointed. The day was a rainy one and if it rains it isn’t like the Universal parks that have indoor rides or anything like that. Everything is outside and if it rains they shut down all the rides. So you are at the park just wasting time. Overall of the whole park, I will not be renewing these passes. If you wanna go for the animals and just walk around then this maybe your park but not for me.
Thank you for reaching out about this recent visit to our park. Our guests’ experience is one of our top priorities from first entry to the last exit, and we apologize our standards of guest service were not met on the date of your visit. Unfortunately, on days of higher attendance our park may experience a longer than normal wait for ride queues and culinary locations. Our operating procedures always remain in the interest of guest safety and satisfaction and we regret to read these process impacted your visit negatively. Additionally, we would like to apologize for any disappointment you experienced due to the extended ride closures during your visit. Whenever there is lightning within 8 miles of the park, all major attractions close for the safety of our guest and team members. If lightning is within 5 miles all outdoor attractions, including children’s rides and the tram, close for the safety of our guest and team members. In most cases, these weather closures do not last long, but they can have a major impact on our guests' experiences. We have forwarded your feedback on to our park leadership team for their further internal review and improvement. -IL

Need to do better Busch Gardens
Rather disappointed... normally the best park for rides for me but this time round 3 or 4 big rides closed with nothing on their app to advise this but what really got me was the price charged for food, we had 2 burgers and 1 chicken tender meals... they were all overcooked/dried out, 3 soft drinks a cup of grapes and a couple of cupcakes and were $104 !! REALLY???? We were cheaper the previous night for 3 fillet stakes for crying out loud! Time to put some fast food franchises in and up your game I think 🤔
We sincerely regret to read about this experience and thank you for taking the time to reach out. Feedback from guests like you is instrumental in helping us deliver a better experience for all our guests. We make every effort to provide notice to our guest when attractions are undergoing maintenance or extended closures. Our scheduled attraction closures are listed on our website here: https://buschgardens.com/tampa/park-info/ride-attraction-schedule/. We regret to read you were unable to obtain this information prior to your visit. Unfortunately, despite annual maintenance and daily operating inspections, our rides can experience technical difficulties, just as any other mechanical device. We employ our own onsite maintenance team, and in most cases are able to open the attraction again quickly. That was our hope on the date you visited; however, we were unable to take care of the problem as quickly as we had anticipated. We sincerely apologize for any disappointment you experienced because of the food you purchased. We would like to assure you that this was in no way representative of our park or the quality of food we offer. We have shared your comments with the culinary leadership team for their review and appropriate action. We certainly understand any frustration and have forwarded your experience on to our park leadership team for their further internal review and improvement. -IG

    Always fun!
My friend and I both have annual passes and we love going to Busch Gardens. We usually choose a time when we know there will be less traffic. We went on a Thursday evening for the summer nights extended hours and we had a blast. Fewer rides were open and some of the areas were closed off however, we ate at the old Swiss House - flatbread and wine. Strolled around and had a great time. The employees were friendly and there were no lines to wait in on the rides that were open. I posted our fun evening on social media and we both have a number of friends that are ready to join us the next time. We will definitely go again and again. Busch Gardens has struggled since the pandemic, but they are doing great. They need more help, but I am willing to wait. Always fun!

Animals and Rides both in abundance
Its an Animal park with rides or a Coaster park with Animals. It all depends on what you want. We enjoyed Cobra's Curse, Stanley Falls Flume, Sand Serpent, Serengeti Express and Congo River Rapids. But the Animals were our favorite. We enjoyed Rescue Tails and the various animal displays. Our best experience was the Serengeti Safari. It is an extra cost but was well worth it.

    Great visit!!
We went in Spring 2023 with small kids and had a wonderful visit. Kids were really excited about the good selection of rides for their age group. They also enjoyed seeing all the exotic animals. As an adult, I was impressed with all the new displays and how clean and well maintained the park was. We will be back!

    Room for improvement
We recently visited Busch Gardens for the first time and we were very impressed by the rides and how quiet it was. The main thing to let them down is charging us to use the lockers in order to ride a ride, same as Aquatica and Seaworld. This shouldn't be acceptable, if you don't allow bags on rides then a free use of the locker to ride should be an option. They just want to make more money. Charging $30 to park is also crazy! We had the all day dine which was so not worth it and when we did get lunch the staff were soooo slow. There weren't many people in the queue but getting out food took over 30 minutes, staff were just standing there doing nothing. Everyone looked unhappy. Rides were excellent though, especially for the thrill lovers. Not sure if I'd rush back there though until they improve
Thank you for taking the time to reach out about this recent visit to our park us as comments from our guest's is an incredibly valuable tool which we do not take for granted. We can assure you that we have shared your feedback to the appropriate leadership teams for their internal review and improvement. -HM

    Great fun!
Came in on a weekday, no long waits for rides or food. You can spend hours here just walking around. Lots of different tours to go on too! We chose the safari tour - was great fun, got to feed the giraffes too! The unlimited eat and drink pass is for every 90minutes which was more than enough for me. Food was average but expected.

    Short wait time on rides
I visited the park on a Friday. Most rides only had a 5 min wait. The park got busy after 4pm with a wait around 10 minutes. I loved all the rollercoasters. Iron Gwazi was by far my favorite ride (and scariest). Annoyed that you have to rent a locker for $10 day. Most parks in the UK have bag storage on the ride platform. There are lockers located near each ride but you need to remember your code each time you move your locker location to another area of the park. It was a hot and humid day but there are large fans located around the park and usually a fan as you queue for the ride. There is free water availabe at most restroom locations. I thought my day ticket was good value and would return on a weekday as the queues were so short.

Great park, great value, just not sure of their commitment to actually operating a 21st century park.
Very impressive with minor annoyances. First a great park, but if you're looking for the worldwide entertainment giant this is not it. What you get is a reasonably sized park, at a reasonable price with great rides, educational wild life information. And the nicest and helpful stuff we've met at theme parks (except one. More later on that). So the staff is absolutely great, friendly, helpful and there when you need them. Two trips this time and great rides, great experiences but for the one downside. I admit it's bugging me. In the Sesame Street Safari a woman was smoking in line with the kids. I asked her, she refused in verbose a personally insulting language. When I told the ride operator, he said there was nothing he could do.

Stood on long lines with most of the fans not working. I don't know if they are too cheap to turn them on or if they didn't work and they are too cheap to fix them. The rides themselves are good. I think any and every business should be required to accept cash - which they don't anymore. I will not be changing my cash to card and have money left on the card for them to keep. I won't be going again until they accept cash - LEGAL TENDER.

Terrible customer service. Was sold the wrong ticket package and there is not a working phone number to get this corrected. Stay on hold forever and no customer support. When you reach a person that can help the phone is disconnected. Numerous emails back and forth with no resolution. The mouse would never allow this. Buyer beware.

Unable to ride sky lift after an expensive ticket you had to pay $5 more per person just to ride the sky lift. We had fast queues purchase and they still require more money. Drinks without carbonation, shows closed, $250 per person and it was very disappointing

Quieter day, managed to more or less walk on all attractions. Park is well maintained, clean and themed well, Iron Gwazi is a top attraction,

Admission ticket price was good, some additional costs for parking and day locker rental $45.

The stand out negative though is the cost of food, there was a deal for 2 pepperoni pizza and soda $37, I asked can you do it with cheese only as partner vegetarian, abrupt no, ended up nearly $45+ which is frankly outrageous and another $11 for an ice cream (frozen balls in a cup) which are sold in the UK for about 0.80p in similar quantities. We didn’t bother having something else later in the day and went to Starbucks a few miles down the road on the way back to Orlando as whilst you expect to pay a premium in a theme park, its so egregious.

As an international visitor only 2 attendants acknowledged us when entering the queues throughout the whole day, which was a stark contrast with Universal and Disney. It didn’t really matter but wouldn’t hurt to be more inviting.

We wanted to do the Skyride but it was $5 each, I understand it was part of admission before again bit disappointing and just another price gouge.

All considered would revisit, hopefully some adjustments to uplifts and food pricing.

The car parking is £32, you travel by tram to the park. We didnt see many animals as it was a hot day and they were all too hot to be out. I took our baby to Sesame street land where they have a number of infant friendly rides. He wasnt big enough for alot of rides to ride alone however he was able to ride with another older child relative in a car ride, there was a ferris wheel which for some reason the elderly lady working the ride refused my baby with an adult rider, but allowed smaller babies with other riders?
I will give 5 stars for a server called Sam in Chick-fil-A, he was most upbeat, friendly, gave additional water, and gave napkins without needing to ask. The food was amazing freshly cooked and juicy chicken nuggets. They also provided baby seating.
We also ate at 2 other locations in Busch Gardens part of the meal deal dining and the food and service certainly wasnt as good.
Some of the attractions wasnt open due to mainteinance including the majorty of pop up stands in the park, it must be a wknd thing, we visited on a tuesday but still busy. Busch gardens certainly is spotless and clean and has many available baby changing facilities.

Overall, this is a snooze. Lots of roller coasters but the animal experience is very marginal. The keepers try hatf but face it, this is a zoo.

Food was quite expensive. Chik fil a sandwich was $10, fries were $7, drinks were $6 and no refills. You are looking at $23 for a meal that elsewhere is around $10.

Admission is less than Disney but the Disney experience is so much better, richer and engaging.

We crossed this off the bucket list and won't go back.

On Friday April 26 my family of 8 went to Busch Gardens, we enjoyed the park rides etc. There were NO SHOWS at all🤷🏼‍♀️ At 4:30 we went to the Food&Wine Festival. The hours were 3pm until 8. We went to Canada first for the La Batts Blue Beer. We were informed they didn’t have nor ever had this advertised beverage, it is still listed on the web site.Went to New Zealand for the Lamb Chops at 4:40, they were out, yet festival was open until 8.Numerous country’s did not have many of the advertised items. We went to Spain for Churros, for the kids. Horrible, inedible, even the pesky squirrel would not eat them. We purchased 2 punch cards for 15 tastes @ $85 per card. Total 8 park admissions $552 plus the punch cards $170. Lunch $150. Then they had the nerve to charge a “service fee” of $52.49….for what I never spoke to anyone, I printed everything from my home. I did try to contact Busch Gardens directly to no avail. This was our go to park for visitors

This was the most disappointing day of our trip. Paid for preferred parking and it was full no spots available and no refund. Half the rides were closed (the app said no wait - walk all the way to the ride and closed) which made other ride waits 60-75 min even though the app would say 20 min wait. Overall rode two rides and paid for the dining pass that only worked for main meal which would have been cheaper with the pass and unlimited refill drink cup. So NOT a fun day - very disappointing!

Such a ripoff. The parking was $39.00. They set up the attractions in such a way that you either pay the additional cost of their fast-pass, which was $120.00 that week, or plan on standing in line for each ride 60-90 minutes. We stood in line for 45 min to ride the first ride, only to have it shut down for mechanical problems. We stood in line 2 hours for the next two rides, had lunch, then the rains came and shut the whole park down, including the shuttles to take you back to parking. I bought a 2 park pass, as we were planning on doing Adventure Island that week. But we found out that 90% of that park was under construction. How the hell do you sell tickets to your park when most of it is under construction? I paid $310.00 for 2 parks with meals, add $39 for parking, and I got 2 rides and lunch, and a rain soaked run back to my car. I am done with theme parks forever, as is my cousin who had to endure this nightmare with me.
