The Challenger Learning Center of Tallahassee is a 32,000 square-foot facility located on beautiful Kleman Plaza in downtown Tallahassee. The Center is the K-12 outreach facility of the Florida A&M University - Florida State University College of Engineering and uses aerospace as a theme to foster long-term interest in math, science, engineering and technology; create positive learning experiences; and motivate students to pursue higher education and careers in these fields. To accomplish this mission, the Challenger Learning Center features a state-of-the-art Space Mission Simulator and utilizes the immersiveness of an IMAX 3D Theatre and the Downtown Digital Dome Theatre & Planetarium.

This museum is expensive and has little to see unless you are a teacher and are taking students to experience the mission activity.

I've been here to see both Wonder Woman, ( 2 times) and Transformers. It's a beautiful theater and great place to learn about different things. The staff is very friendly. A great place to bring your kids or grandkids.

volunteers and staff went all out to make sure their many visitors had a great time. The IMAX theater is loads of fun and the gift shop is unique. Where else can you get NASA freeze dried ice cream!

We spent a great deal of time here - wonderful IMAX Theater and the Planetarium is also a great place to learn a great deal abut our universe. You need to just kick back and let the place wash over you.

We spent some solid time here learning about the planets in the Center's Surround-Sound theatre. Truly Amazing. The guides in the Center taught us so much about NASA and the planets. Things we didn't know--and the theater is really spectacular.
