We came on a day when the Preserve only allowed walk-ins and didn't realize it would be approximately a 2-mile walk each way. We were determined to get to the lake shown on the map so we'd know where the put-in was for our kayaks...More

Easy to find and plenty of parking. Both paved and unpaved trails. Walked with my dog mostly early morning. Clean well marked trails. Beautiful views and wildlife sightings.

We staying in a hotel property right on Rte 19 and this preserve was 5 minutes away. A beautiful park with well maintained trails. I would highly recommend checking out these trails. This was a great find in the area!

I like this place so much I will get a Florida State Parks Season Pass. The pass is good in this park and most of Florida State Parks. I especially like to boat cruise.

You will see wild life, it is a great place to get some walking exercise. I have seen deer, raccoons, a fox, sand hill cranes, bear tracks and more birds and duck than I could count.

My husband & I love to hike & bike there. Unfortunately it has been closed since the forest fires. Can't wait for it to re-open.
