Linda Pedersen park is a great little park for leisure activities and features a small swimming area, picnic area, playground, and picnic tables. Often times during colder months you can view manatees in the river from multiple spots or ascend the tower for a 360°...More

Park close to Pine Island- worth a quick stop because Manatees swim in the waterways close to the edge so it’s a nice peaceful way to view them. There is a wooden lighthouse tower that is easy to climb with short steps that gives a...More

My husband and I spent last Saturday at this amazing park off the beaten path. There were dozens of manatees that actually swam right up to the dock. They even came up out the water as if to greet you! Not terribly crowded and plenty...More

We were exploring the area while nearby to go to Weeki Wachee and we came across this park. It was sunset time so there were mosquitoes but it is Florida in summer so that is to be expected. The walk along the water was nice...More

We were disappointed that the viewing tower was closed to the public, however we enjoyed our leisurely walk around the park. We noticed many people fishing on the long dock out over the water, picnicking at tables throughout the park, and merely strolling through the...More

Been here a handful of times over the years and its always the same thing. Nice little scenic spot, fishing never really panned out and the bugs are atrocious. The Florida state bird (Mosquito), deer flies and horse flies are about as bad as it...More
