Too late for the 2018 event, you should pencil in the 2019 event! The sand is like sugar. No wonder this beach has been rated No. 1 in the USA

One of my very favorite beaches anywhere in the U.S. The sand is amazing, the water is warm, you can walk out into the gulf quite a ways, and the vibe is both family friendly and very chill.

Not the best snorkeling. We were there for a couple calm days and the kids and I did snorkel a bit but more for looking for shells close up. Not good distance visibility.
