First thing .... this is a wonderful test of golf that is in magnificent shape when we played it. All in the group are "players"., so this course is a legit test of your abilities. Several tee boxes to choose from and most importantly the greens run true. That said this is not a $169 golf course. There are venues way more reasonable located on the stretch from Ft Walton to Pensacola City.

We had a wonderful experience, everything was first rate. Really enjoyable golf course, challenging. Fun to encounter an island green. We only saw the unfriendly cart girl once, but we didn't suffer for that. Great service from everyone else. It was a memorable golf experience.

First time to Sandestin, found the accommodations, the people and the golf courses to all be as advertised and actually nicer than expected. Stayed in a two bedroom property within walking distance, had four rounds of fun and scenic golf. Looking forward to coming back some day in the near future.

Had a wonderful beach trip with my family. This place is awesome. I am a scratch golfer and played Burnt Pine with my brother (also a great golfer) and we had a hell of a time. 10/10 recommend staying at Sandestin!

My husband and I played this course a few days ago and we will not be returning. We preferred Kelly Plantation and Regatta Bay. The green fees were $180.00 which is fine if they don’t treat you like you are paying $20.00. I realize we aren’t members there but they were incredibly rude. The gentleman at the golf club told us the driving range was closed so they could mow....at 1:00 on a Tuesday. No one told us anything about the course and the starter basically told us there is the first tee, see ya. Luckily a member started chatting with us and gave us a bit of insight to the course.
The course itself was decent but not our favorite. I would not return here and not recommend it.

Certainly one of the best (most challenging) courses on the panhandle. Lots of hills in the fairways, and along the roughs to throw even a slightly errant shot into the pines, water alongside most of the holes, and strategically placed bunkers, both fairway and greenside. Most of the greens allow for wicked pin placements, either approaching from across water, or at the edges of severe elevation changes. The signature hole has even the "up" tees shooting over a marsh to a bull warmed green. Along with the course being well layed out, there is a large driving range, grass of course, with a bunker for a few tries before you hit the links. Finally, the course, and players, receive the best of care, so you always know you're on a quality property. One of he best places to have a round I've ever experienced, and I've been playing the game over 60 years.

My wife and I with a couple of friends golfed at Burnt Pines and were treated very rudely and condescendingly. The guy that came over to get our clubs out of the car asked if we were staying on property. I said no. He told us only people that stay here are the only people that can play at this golf course. Then he asked my wife what course Club she plays at. He also told the people were playing with to tuck in their shirts. One of the players is a Pastor! Where does this guy get off talking to patrons like this. Obviously he does NOT live there otherwise he wouldn't have a job working to insult people. The course was beautiful but I will NEVER be back after my wife and playing partners were treated like second class citizens. Lucky he doesn't work for me or he'd be flipping burgers.

A great design with lots of water & trees. It's Semi-Private, so not crowded and has a great pace of play. Greens are new and hard, but roll great. If you love golf, this is a must stop.

Best course in the area by far. The excellent service started with Mike from Pittsburgh at the front desk. Libby in the cart is always great and the check in fellas were great.
The course is very challenging and has great water views. Don't miss this course if you are playing golf in the area.
