What a wonderful place to spend time! At 10 dollars it’s a great value. I believe it is Florida’s oldest roadside attraction. If you like plants and flowers, you will not be disappointed!

Old Florida at it's finest..beautiful gardens, birds, fish and turtles. Just magical! While meandering the shaded, colorful paths..I can just imagine my Grandmother in the 1960's seeing the same thing and saying "Now this is Florida"! The flamingos are a special treat in this "one...More

Beautiful. Worth the money and time. Sanctuary in the city with amazing native plants . Only negative is the captive birds. It’s 2019... gross

Inexpensive but not very impressive as it is small and not particularly impressive. Much better to spend more and go to Selby Gardens in Sarasota.

You really must see. Truly like "a blast from the past" in theme park mode. Something soooo inexpensive, yet so pretty. If you love plants & flowers, you'll love this place! It doesn't hurt there is a Carrabas next door. So take in the gorgeous...More

The Sunken Gardens are a wonderful place for families. Lots of different types of vegetation from large palms and bamboo stands to smaller flowering plants. Many plants are labelled but they need to work on finishing the task. Several areas are works in progress but...More

We enjoyed the Gardens. The paths were easy for my dad's mobility scooter. The Gardens are a nice walk with beautiful trees and plants.

They are in a display area separated from the walkway. If you want to see flamingos up close and have them eat out of your hand, visit the Flamingo Jungle Gardens in Sarasota.
