Enjoyable few hours wandering around the gardens viewing plants, trees, ponds with koi, some butterflies, exotic birds. Nice stroll through the 4 acres of gardens. Free parking. Discount for seniors. Great bakery around the corner - Southern Bay Bakery.

Hidden treasure hidden beneath the City if you will. Slightly below street level.....beautiful plant life typical of Florida. Reasonable admission and free parking. Fairly easy walking....take your time and soak it in !

They are in a display area separated from the walkway. If you want to see flamingos up close and have them eat out of your hand, visit the Flamingo Jungle Gardens in Sarasota.

There are so many paths that cross each other it would be hard to answer exactly. They have a lot of places to sit and enjoy the beauty. I would say less than a mile.
