We absolutely loved every minute of our Segway adventure with Remi. He was very great with instructions and we felt at ease right away. The nature was beautiful and the speed was PERFECT! Such a super nice person/guide. Highly recommend this experience for your family!
Remi picked us up from the Dolphin Village prompt at 10 and drove us to Fort de Soto park.
He then gave instruction and orientation to ensure health & safety. We were then well equipped to enjoy the tour.

It was ok. But could have been better. Remi is very safety conscious and took too much time on talking and teaching each person instead of doing it as a group. He also took multiple phone calls for people trying to schedule future rides that...More
I have done this ride four times now. It is like being a kid again riding that wagon down the hill. Remi does a good job of teaching you and informing you on some of the locale history and knowledge of the area.
While on our beach trip we experienced Remi’s segway tour. He was such a nice guy, a great teacher and made it so much fun, had us laughing. It was so nice riding through the state park, so peaceful and beautiful, and not some busy...More
Remi the "Segway Daddy" runs a great tour. You meet at a tiki hut by a Publix and drive to Fort DeSoto Park. Once there, he will show you how to ride the Segway safely. He has lots of patience. You get to ride along...More

I'm not 100% sure so would check with Remi. I do have an idea it was 220lb. My husband is a tall, heavy (205lb) man, and he was fine. As far as age goes, you sign a disclaimer before the ride, and as long as your... More
I'm not 100% sure so would check with Remi. I do have an idea it was 220lb. My husband is a tall, heavy (205lb) man, and he was fine. As far as age goes, you sign a disclaimer before the ride, and as long as your travel insurance or health insurance covers you if you're out of state I don't think you'd have any problems. The only thing I would say is that you do need to have strong knees as they are flexed for the entire ride. I hope this helps, it really is great fun!
