It costs $8 per car to get in, but the surfboards are $20 to rent for 1/2 a day so it saves money regardless. Also better shell collecting spots and less people. There is also a cafe on the beach the serves good hot dogs,...More

Tranquil beach, the water was great! My husband took a walk to get a picture of the lighthouse. The sand is like sugar and I'd definitely recommend tourists visiting this beach.

This is a state park with numerous things to do and enjoy while visiting St. Augustine. We went here for a picnic and do some other things that were cheaper to do for a day.

Wide, beautiful beach with lots of shells. Close to town but not commercialized much. Nice restroom facilities with changing area. Outdoor sand showers. Waves were pretty strong the day we were there but there are lifeguards.

We love to stay here! It’s close to all of the major attractions in St. Augustine. You can enjoy the beach, catch a concert at the Ampitheatre next door, kayak, picnic, bike. Lots to do!
