Located on US1 just east of I95, exit 298. The park fronts Pellicer creek and is a great place to launch kayaks and canoes. Park offers walking trails, picnic areas and campsites. There are fishing and boat docks as well.

This park has a nice campground with great rates still pretty close to St Augustine. I don't think there are any full hookups available, but the sites are large and well spaced with many trees between sites. The bathrooms were pretty worn, but serviceable; the...More

I agree with the previous comment about the disgusting bathrooms. I refused to use the showers. One morning I walked in and someone had left a bag of soiled diapers by the sink, even though there was a trash can right there. I never saw...More

Love the park. The camp sites are private and well maintained. The bathrooms are awful. We've stayed it many state parks across the country. These bathrooms were by far the nastiest and dirtiest. Cob webs hanging down with in reach that they could be removed. The...More

My second visit to a Florida State Park, definitely not my last. Very secluded and peaceful yet close to everything you need. We visited in January and had no problem with bugs. Sites are large, restrooms clean. Nice trails and open spaces for my two...More

We visited Faver Dykes the weekend of the 10th. It poured rain and got cold. The roads were flooded, outside park also, but was surprised our site had no standing water. It rained all night. Friends used the bathhouse, which could use some work, which...More

This was such a lovely spot to visit. Almost no one was there, and the weather was perfect for a December day in Florida. There's only one ranger, and he was very helpful. There are a couple of shots along the creek for fishing and...More

Prepare for sand inside your camper, even if you institute a shoes off policy at the door. A few of the campsites are concrete, but the vast majority are sand, like the road into the campground, sand. When it rains the sand sticks to your...More

We came here to walk on the nature trails. They were beautiful. The whole park is great, actually. However, prepare accordingly. I had 16 ticks on me. My husband had another 15. Come to find out, that's a pretty common thing for the park. Prepare,...More
