Upon recent beach renovation the pier at high tide only had water under the first three supports.As far as fishing goes they could only fish off the very end of the pier and the water was only shoulder deep. They did have a free concert...More

The peir is really cool and fun, always something going on, except that with the sand reclamation project there's only like 6 feet of fishable railing at low tide. I still had fun though. Sheepshead, sharks, other fishes were caught.

Thank you for visiting the St Augustine Pier. Unfortunately we have no control over the renourishment project, as it is a federal program. The sand will slowly erode, the fishing will get a little better by the day.

The pier is well maintained and staffed. It has a shop that sells food items, beverages, bait, tackle and souvenirs. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is a clean sturdy structure and fish are caught off of it. Great parking is available and access...More

great place to get to beach, rinse feet and bathrooms were clean, beach chair rental was disappointing, old chair with no support, need to inspect before renting. Water park great for kids!!!

Yes, we have a full bait and tackle store. Rental rods are available at $5.00 per hour, with a two hour minimum charge.

County beach parking is free at all of the lots. A daily or annual beach driving pass can be purchased at the toll booth at any of the access ramps
