The caretaker was very knowledgeable about the shrine's history. Her oral history made me feel like I was back in the past. Also, if you stand at a certain spot you will here an echo.

I had the pleasure of experiencing the Divine Liturgy here recently. The shrine and museum is a must see stop of any visitor to Saint Augustine. The gift shop has wonderful items; books, icons, jewelry, and many other interesting items.

This Greek museum definitely looks at the past of the Greeks. I just do not think it deserves a high rating because it just needs more things to do/see.

This little shrine is a hidden gem on St.George Street soon after you pass through the city gate on the north side and close to the oldest school house in the United States. It's easy to miss so you have to be on the look...More

Wow! This was something we visited as we walked down St George Street. it't easy to miss. Not flashy or "special." in appearance. But once inside, Wow! Great icons, a great shrine, great displays of vestments. But the best is last - a video that...More

For as old as it is, this fort is in amazing condition, overlooking the bay. St Augustine has so much to offer that you should plan on a whole day if not two or three to take it all in.

What a surprise to find this unheralded location. Good history of Greek migrants to St Augustine and Florida. The Shrine itself is beautifully done and quite so you can pray or meditate. The gift shop is very nice as is the attendant.

The craftsmanship in the frescos in the chapel is amazing. Some interesting artifacts and stories of the Greek community of Florida. A very nice stop indeed off of busy George St.
