After our visit through the San Marcos Castillo we sauntered over to Old City. There are blocks of interesting shops selling a huge variety of goods. Every side street has wonders to see.

We walked around town last week. The downtown is very charming and there's lots of history. There are many restaurants/bars and shops to explore.

We stayed in the Old City. So much to see and do. Plenty of night life and great restaurants and shopping.

This is a wonderful little restaurant which is located on the first floor of a B&B. The menu is limited, but the food is always very good. It has a full bar which is very unusual for St. Augustine and the drinks are very good.

We had a great time exploring St. Augustine old city. The cathedral is beautiful and open to the public. Great shopping in the city market.

If you're vising St. Augustine, you will find yourself here. I love these old parts of a city. Yes, it's shopping and eating, but it's enjoyable. There is a lot to see, and we had a fun time strolling these old streets.

We had a hard time finding anyplace to park to just get out and walk around. The town is adorable...wish we had more time.

It has been years since we have been here to walk around the Old City and it is much better than years ago. They were packed with people. Tons of shops. Very clean. Terrific walk.

There is no context to this question: “Old City” If you are speaking of New Orleans, it has been crowded every time of year that we have visited. I would suggest that if you make your way there very early in the morning... More

Of course! Best without a tour so you can wander around and explore at your own pace.
