You can't travel to St. Augustine without visiting the Old City - it's wonderful just to stroll around and take in the history and architecture.

We have been down from Tennessee several times now and always enjoy the beauty and history of this city..

Lots of bars, restaurants, and shops. Similar to other old city areas such as Charleston. A very pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

There is so much to see, the history of the city is fascinating, book a tour guide to get the most from you stay.

Lots to see, fun to walk around. Some parts are touristy but there are old buildings, interesting architecture and a general fun mood to be had.

Absolutely lovely, friendly folks, beautifully maintained attractions, plenty of restaurant choice, wonderful shops, and walkable. This is the best (and most easily navigated) historic town center on the East Coast. It far outstrips Colonial Williamsburg. Loved it!

Saint Augustine's historic old city is a very special place. It should be on everyone's bucket list. Full of charm and history it is worthy of anyone's time. Bravo to a small city that has continued generation after generation for preserving a very special place.

Definitely a must in St. Augustine! The only way to tour this part is on foot (not literally the only way, there are trolley tours, etc.). Cute shops and a whole plethora of cuisine offered in this part of the city. It's close to all...More

We had the quaint streets to ourselves!! It seems that everyone else was sleeping in. While most businesses were still shut, this gives time to appreciate the historic buildings, read the plaques, and really absorb what an amazing place this is.

Of course! Best without a tour so you can wander around and explore at your own pace.

Yes. There is an oversized lot between the large public parking complex downtown and Ponce de Leon Blvd.
