Ocean Reef Park is a beautiful 12.62 acre beach front park in Riviera Beach. The park has 700 feet of life guarded beach, a picnic pavilion, restrooms, picnic tables, grills, showers, playground, and best of all, a large free parking lot. Free beach parking is sadly extinct in Broward County.

Salt water fishing is allowed in the park. Grab a bucket from the cleanup station on the boardwalk and get some exercise picking up trash and leave the beach better than you found it and help sea turtles. The use of balloons in the park is prohibited to protect wildlife. A beach wheelchair can be requested from the lifeguard station.

I loved discovering this tropical oasis. It is perfect for a picnic, swimming, snorkeling, and laying out on the beach. If I am going to enjoy a relaxing beach day I prefer to go to north. This park is going to be added to the favorites rotation. If you want even more great snorkeling, Phil Foster park at the base of the bridge is only a short drive away. Along with Peanut Island, this area has a fantastic selection of ways to enjoy Palm Beach aquatic recreation.

Stumbled upon this gem because Phil Foster Park was too busy during high tide and we still needed an adventure. We found Ocean Reef Park located north of the Singer Island Marriott. Parking is free, and there are places to picnic, kids area, and bathrooms. The hike to the beach is not to bad. We were unable to snorkel do to red flags on life guard towers. Looking at the waves we would not want to try. The reef or rock outcropping made it fun watching the ocean water spray water over people.

Not sure I'd call it a reef. The park is really nice with picnic tables and a play area. The water was clear for snorkeling but it's more like rock outcropping full of pockets that hold shells. No living coral but we did see a large barracuda and 4 hogfish. There are rinse stations and restrooms.

This is a relatively unknown, great public beach. Parking is plentiful, except on 3-day holidays when it is crowded early. There is a picnic area with toilets before the beach. Life guards are ever watchful. The beach is next to the Marriott Resort and Spa and you can walk to their bar for food and drinks though you cannot use their beach or chairs. Still it is convenient. The park closes at sunset.

Nice easy beach access to snorkeling on reef that protrudes from shore. A good place to introduce a new or younger snorkeler to some open water.

Walked thru the small park and went to the beach while on Singer Island. A really nice facility in a quiet community.
