A nice alternative to a theme park.
ICON park is located between Universal blvd and International Drive just a few blocks south of Sand Lake Road. Their website advertises 50+ shops, free parking, and several alternatives to visiting the local theme parks. The free parking is in the large multi-story parking garage above the 4th floor. Access is a direct walkway to all ICON park items. There is a large building on the east side that houses the Sea Life aquarium, a food court, the Wheel entrance, restrooms, and a game room. To the west of this building, there is a central open courtyard that offers a soft artificial grass area that many use to congregate, play ball or relax. There are several restaurants and shops around the courtyard. Please pay attention to the hours of operation as most of the stores open after 10 am so if you are an early riser you may want to find other things to do and visit when it opens. The shops include a coffee shop, restaurants (tapas, American fare, fish and chips), a VR shop, and gift shops. There were small trains that you could take a ride on around the complex starting right outside the large building that offers access to the aquarium and the wheel. As an added bonus, for you thrill seekers, on the northwest corner of the complex there is a flying chair ride called the Starflyer which bills itself as a ride with double-seat swings, offering views from 450 feet up. Overall, ICON park is a nice experience and a pleasant alternative to theme parks.

    Nice but not special
It was a great location but a little too touristy for my tastes. The Ferris Wheel had great views but was a little pricey. The restaurants were plentiful but nothing stood out. Its a nice deviation but nothing special

    Don't bother
We went after the golf next door. Was very noisy awful music playing. The stuff to do is expensive. $35 to do the bungee/ ride $6 for shaved ice ! Didn't dare ask how much the wheel was. There was a strong smell of drugs there so we didn't stay long

    Icon park totally rubbish
Dont bother. So expensive. The staff clearly don't want to be there. Was grunted at by all but one. The wheel was okay nice view but nothing tells you about what you can see. Complete waste of time and money really dont bother breaking up you day with a visit here. Museum's of illusion was the best part but that takes just 20 minutes at most.

Great place to kill some time
A great place to kill some time on I-drive. Big wheel, sling shot, aquarium, arcade, gift shops, bars and restaurants. The Madame Tussaud’s looked a bit dodgy though.

Me and my boyfriend visited Icon Park at the beginning of this month and were having difficulties with our tickets. I can't say how much I appreciate the manager Jonathan and the lady working at the front (I forget her name I'm so sorry) at icon park for all they did for me and my boyfriend! They truly went above and beyond and were so sweet and kind and helpful in the process! Me and my boyfriend had a great time there visiting all three attractions! Thanks again for all you guys did you truly are the best example of great customer service ❤️

We spent a Saturday at Icon Park and had so much fun. Highly recommend the Fun Pass for all attractions. We enjoyed everything they have. The wheel was awesome at sunset. Lots of good restaurants here too!

Me and my boyfriend visited ICON park a couple of times during our recent trip to Florida and really enjoyed it!

We got some food at Sloppy Joes which was 10/10 the staff were super lovely and helpful and the food was GORGEOUS!

We also visited a couple of the bars one being the Sky Bar! The staff there were really chatty and lovely! Drinks were reasonably priced too!

Another bar which we particularly enjoyed was Tin Roof (I think!) which had awesome live music and an area to sit outside which I particularly enjoyed watching the thunder and lightning from at the time.

However, while we were in that bar and my boyfriend was trying to get a general vid of the park with the lighting in the background (we thought it looked cool) up storms a young girl from the caricature stand just opposite and aggressively shoved her phone in his face before storming off again, I was seriously unhappy about this so I went over to ask what was going on and she told me “he was taking a picture of me” i explained that he wasn’t at all he was taking a quick video of the lightning and all I got was “ok cool” the attitude was unreal, I would suggest if you can’t take the possibility that people may be taking pictures then don’t work in a public facing job.

However other than that little incident, lovely food (plenty of places to choose from), mainly lovely staff that are more than happy to help and chat and just an all round lovely area for family’s if you have any spare time at all it’s worth a visit (just be careful if you want to take a photo you might get someone with a severe attitude problem shoving their phone in your face! 😂)

Really decent choice of bars a restaurants, a fun arcade and big wheel. Was nice to escape the craziness of the hotel and park restaurants for an evening. A bit more reasonably priced than park restaurants as well.

We enjoyed walking around the park, lots of little kiosks selling fun foods and goods. Took a foodie tour with Jordan as our guide. She was awesome! The icon wheel was an impressive Ferris wheel. It was gentle, and we had a great view of the city.

Great place. Happy, upbeat atmosphere. Nice selection of restaurants and bars with live music. Lots of vendors for shopping and snacking. Train ride around the park was great. Totally worth the $4.
