- Susan CToronto, Canada45 contributionsWas a good day!We visited Sea World on January 1, 2024. It wasn't a crowded day which was helpful with getting on rides with a tolerable wait time and to see a number of the shows. Family of 4 with 2 teens, and we all really enjoyed the interactive options to feed animals. Beautiful day, and easy to walk around the park. The park was nicely decorated for Christmas, and the lights were beautiful. The shows were amazing, especially O Wonderous Night. The performers were excellent and definitely shouldn't' miss this show. The food was so so. We had the All Day Dining and there were a number of dining options to pick from. It's a nice way to spend the day, and see and learn a lot about our oceansVisited January 2024Traveled with familyWritten January 26, 2024
- Arnold91Dublin, Ireland136 contributionsGreat theme parkI had a nice time in this theme park. I got a berry good deal with attraction tickets direct which included all day dining. I would recommend getting this if you can as the food is pretty expensive. I thought the rollercoasters (Kracken and another lying down one which I can’t remember the name of). It’s a pity that journey to Atlantis was closed as, in my opinion, that is one of the best rides. I though the dolphin show was great. This was my third time visiting and it has always been a pleasant experience.Visited January 2024Traveled soloWritten January 30, 2024
- Julie G11 contributionsFun experience at SeaWorldWe arrived at 8:45am and they announced the Star Spangled Banner- everyone stopped and honored the flag!!! The crowd was not bad so we really enjoyed walking around and seeing all the shows. The place was clean, offered a lot of food choices and shows were well planned.Visited January 2024Traveled with familyWritten January 31, 2024
- Lacey A1 contributionWe LOVE SeaWorldNative Floridian here! SeaWorld is by far my FAVORITE theme park out of all the parks. There is no comparison. Lines are rarely long and it's a laid back park without feeling overwhelmed or obnoxiously crowded. Food is delicious compared to other theme parks as well. My daughter is 12 and it's she loves SeaWorld as well. We have been to ALL the theme parks many times and we continue to go to SeaWorld several times a year:-) ENJOY!Visited January 2024Traveled with familyWritten February 9, 2024
- Luciana P4 contributionsVery good park, with very radical attractions! Could improve some aspects.Very good roller coasters! Mainly the new Pipeline. Dolphin Show is also worth it. The main criticisms are: the cost of parking (the most expensive park we went to, more than 30 dollars) and the charge to leave backpacks in lockers (10 dollars per day), with Disney and Universal providing free lockers.Visited February 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten February 11, 2024
- Deb8731Peabody, Massachusetts37 contributionsSeaWorld Rescue TourSeaWorld Orlando FL is a great but avoid paying extra for the SeaWorld Rescue Tour. It’s the worst tour ever. We went behind the scenes & saw a couple of tanks with some manatees & a couple of tanks with some turtles. Looked in the windows of some offices. We saw a boat & a truck. That’s it. Donate the $19.00 don’t waste your time with the tour.Visited February 2024Traveled with friendsWritten February 14, 2024
- Eeva THelsinki, Finland10 contributionsExcellent park for the whole family of all ages!A small park but once you start experiencing it, it surprises you with all it includes. Lovely animal presentations with great staff and superb six roller coasters, true family favourites! The waiting times were decent with 30-45 min max and in the evening the kids could just run to take another round on the Manta. We loved our stay here and truly recommend it. Extra smiles for the great comedian at one of the animal presentations! :-)Visited February 2024Traveled with familyWritten February 26, 2024
- joyw7485 contributionsGreat day at SeaWorldFirst SeaWorld trip in many years. I was totally prepared to be disappointed. I was actually very surprised how much I enjoyed the park. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because I felt that it was understaffed, but also assume they have the same struggle we all have. For example the rides did not have anyone at the entrance, some kiosks were not manned. The park was clean, well cared for, and we were thoroughly entertained with the shows. Sad the penguin exhibit closed, but that is what happens with upgrades. New coaster looks like it will be awesome. And the Orca Stadium is also under renovations, but they had a smaller show in the back area which was still nice. Seven Seas Food Festival was going on, I thought that was fair to good, nothing but the cream brulee really stuck out for me. I would not attend just for that. The lanyards do work well and can be used by the whole group. If you chose to purchase I suggest purchasing one at a time. A 15 punch was enough for the 4 of us. Lunch at the aquarium restaurant was good. Coasters are awesome if they are something you enjoy. It rained a little later in the day so park attendance dropped, no waiting for rides once it cleared. My husband rented a scooter and all went well, everything was accessible.Visited March 2024Traveled with familyWritten March 4, 2024
- ndgrandma2015Douglas, North Dakota84 contributionsLove the Beluga's!I wanted to go to SeaWorld to see the Beluga whales and they did not disappoint. My husband and I spent an hour watching these characters. We also got to see some birds that were on my bucket list to see and they were just hanging around in the park, a Roseated Spoonbill sitting on it's nest and a couple standing around on the sidewalks. The Flamingo's were also a high point for me but I'm somewhat of an amateur birdwatcher. This place is a lot of walking so be prepared for that but a very enjoyable day.Visited February 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten March 6, 2024
- Laura M50 contributionsAlways a great visit2 Families all ages. We all had a blast in this park. The Orca show (controversial, I know) was informative and a huge learning experience for the people who will never see one in the wild. The Sea Lion show was another comedic entertaining experience. The mime before the show has become and internet phenomenon and kept us laughing before the show. The dolphin show was full of energy and talent. The nursery had a few babies in it to see. There were a few manatees - from tiny to massive. The Arctic was closed and the Penguin area is closed too. Finally got to ride the log ride! All the coasters were running, and they are building a new one. Sesame Place had some rides closed and doesn't have enough shade for the parents waiting and watching their kids. The splash pad was a great spot to cool off. Infinity Falls was closed, it has a lot of mechanical problems. The tunnel aquarium was a fun experience with everyone in our group. Petting the sting rays was a huge highlight too. This park takes a lot of flack, but the amount of information you gain from the exhibits far surpasses the historical downfall. They work more on rescue, rehabilitation and re entry than they ever have! Major downfall was kid lost a hat on the grover coaster, the employee wouldn't go and get it, we could see it at the back corner of the coaster in the fenced in yard. They said check with lost and found before we leave the park. Lost & Found was closed after customer service telling us to go there. We came back another day and it was still closed all day, and the hat wasn't by the coaster, so how we are going to get it back is a mystery. Would have taken 30 seconds for the operator to go grab it.Visited March 2024Traveled with friendsWritten March 17, 2024

We visited Sea World on December 29. We arrived just before opening time and went immediately to the penguin attraction. We got in immediately, and were glad we did, because by later in the day the line was close to an hour. We did attend all the major shows, and they are fantastic! The dolphin show was our favorite. We arrived about a half hour early to get seats out of the splash zone. The shows did fill up as the park was very crowded for the holiday week. The Pet Show filled to capacity for at least a couple of time slots. We also especially enjoyed the sea lions at Pacific Point Preserve as well as Wild Arctic and all the great aquariums. We are not roller coaster fans, so I was worried there wouldn't be enough to keep us busy. We ended up being there from 9am to 7:30pm, and there was plenty for our family (adults and teens) to see and do. This is a great park for people of any age! Make sure you grab a map at the entrance with all the show times and for help getting around the park. The signs in the park are somewhat confusing; it felt at times like they were pointing us the wrong way to get to an attraction. The All Day Dining Deal is a toss up depending on your family's preferences. We packed our own water (which we refilled at drinking fountains) and snacks and did not get the Dining Deal. We purchased lunch at Mango Joe's; entrees of pizza/fries and burger/fries were between $12 and $14 and were very generous servings even without extra side dishes or desserts. In fact, we weren't even hungry enough for another full meal at supper and ended up just splitting some grilled sandwiches. If you're going to order drinks and snacks/desserts throughout the day, it might be worth getting the Dining Deal for at least part of your group. Overall, we had a great day, and I would recommend it!

Our group of 22 got our tickets after going to Discovery Cove the day before. We got there around 10. We were all able to see the Sea Lion High, Pets Ahoy and Dolphin Days back to back. We LOVED each of the shows and the kids enjoyed being in the splash zone. We the made our way to the Orca show. After some research, I thought I had read the Orcas were no longer there but I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they were. Quite a magnificent show. Our group broke into two. I took the younger kids to the Sesame Street Parade. The older kids and teens went to ride the bigger rides. Atlantis was down for repairs but my husband said it was well worth purchasing the quick passes to skip the lines. The little waited like 30 minutes to ride the cookie monster ride because so many adults were riding it without kids? The rain came by 6 pm. We went and visited the gift shop and Meet and Greet with Elmo and Cookie until it passed over. The characters are awesome at what they do. We got to ride one more ride in Sesame Street which was the little roller coaster. We waited about 45 minutes for that one in the rain but it was fun and the little kids liked it. On the way out of the park, we stopped by infinity Falls and met back up with the group. About 12 of us opted to wait in the rain to ride that one even though the wait time listed was 20 minutes. Midway through they shut it down for the weather and it was fast approaching 8 pm/closing. They opened it back up after most everyone had gotten out of line. Infinity Falls was the best water ride I have ever been on. It was well worth the wait. They allowed us to ride it twice and then it was closing time. Our youngest 4 up to our oldest 80 enjoyed the day. I feel it was a bit more crowded than previous visits due to it being a Sunday and President's Day weekend. It still wasn't as crowded as other theme parks in the area.

Traveled here in Feb in off season less crowds and wait times were low. Dolphin and orca show were fantastic. My 4 y/o loved the shows and is now obsessed with both animals. Highlight of day was seeing the manatees. Animal ambassador Trinity was wonderful, taking time to explain the different rescues and rehabs Seaworld is doing for these wonderful animals. We ate at Mango Joes and would highly recommend the fish sandwich (ironic for a water park). Seems to be expanding their coaster selections. My son was also excited to enjoy Sesame Street. A nice addition for younger parkgoers.

If you are considering going to SeaWorld I'd recommend printing your tickets and I suppose print proof of a reservation date. They are requiring reservations now during covid. I made a reservation under my annual pass. Then when we were in SA we called customer service to reschedule due to weather. Customer service is horrible in most of my experiences with them. And you may find the website to function poorly. The rep I finally got to speak to for rescheduling (on hold for 1 whole hour) was nice and made the new reservation easily. However, I directly asked if the email I received with tickets could be used for entry and she responded yes. If a rep tells you that you can use tickets on your phone for entry don't believe them. If you notice online and at the park signs indicating they've gone digital--don't believe them. Have your tickets and reservation tickets on hand. I'd also suggest if you created an online account to have all your information available on hand if you run into an issue. I was bombarded with a terrible employee needing me to login into my account and show proof of my annual pass. My family and I returned to SA specifically to go to SeaWorld and utilized tickets under my annual pass. After being tossed around to at least 4 or 5 employees and not being able to speak to a manager after requested (an over 2 hour process), we finally gave up and left. I will say toward the end of that day, with persistence to get in on my part, a rep finally printed tickets for me. She never acknowledged a mistake on their end or explained to me what the issue even was. We stood in line once again and the employee scanning tickets was unable to scan the printed tickets. My poor kids were even fed up and miserable at that point and asked to leave. I requested a refund for my annual pass and it was declined. Took a full month to even hear back from them. I was offered 3 tickets upon return to the park. I would never return. How would I believe those 3 tickets would be honored and even be accepted at the time of entry? I also submitted to BBB and Sea World still did not want to resolve the issue. Several other less than desirable things happened too but I think I've provided enough at this point to either have you reconsider going or to be extra prepared when you do go. If you've never been be ready to go through several check points (very different than Disney :) ) and one for COVID now that has you go through an area where you'll feel like cattle being herded. There's not clear direction of when you have finally entered the park. Customer service is right outside actual entry. If you want to use the photo club having your pics taken there's a customer service kiosk specifically for them right inside entry. You might get mixed messages from their photo club photographers as well. Be aware of hotel or other types of reps for time shares.

The only pro to visiting SeaWorld at this time is the low crowds. But don’t be expecting much else after that. Other than some of the kiddie rides in the Sesame Street section, only Manta and Mako were open. That’s it. It was 90 degrees yet not a single water ride was open. The list of rides listed as “closed” on the guide for today did not include all the closures. Cast members also gave conflicting info on which rides were open or closed. And good luck finding much to eat. Many places are closed and there aren’t many choices. The shows each have only 1 times a lot per day, and they close off sections of the park throughout the day. This means you get herded like cattle to where they want you to go- and with the only orca encounter show being at 4:30 and the park closing at 5, they keep you there all day for the prime event and then herd you to the exit. I don’t recommend going right now unless you are already an annual pass holder and don’t mind almost everything being closed. It was a let down for us.

We went to SeaWorld Orlando *today* 20 Feb 2020. It cost about $110 per person at the gate (and $25 for general parking). We attended the Dolphin show at 11AM and it was very short and basic. Attended the Orca show at 12:30 AM and it was much better.
We went to the shark encounter exhibit which seems tired and worn out after all these years. Aquariums at the exhibit did not seem very clean, real corals where practically non existent in the displays, the walkway was not functioning, etc. It was dissappointing.
Tried a couple other exhibits with similar results. The Sky Tower was closed to visitors when we went there this morning. The main roller coaster was closed to visitors. The new Infinity Falls water ride was closed to visitors. The simulated Helicopter ride of Wild Arctic was closed to visitors.
Why were charged full price when the park was only operating at about 50% ?
We went to try the Seven Seas Festival but discovered that it is not open yet. The shop merchandise everywhere was very pricey.
The new Sesame Street attraction looked very nice if you have young children but ours are well past this age range now . . . and it was very puzzling to see (what has Sesame Street got in common with SeaWorld anyhow? It really does not seem to fit the park theme at all.)
I doubt we shall try it ever again.

We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your visit, yesterday, to SeaWorld® Orlando. Being a year-round operation, it is challenging for us to keep our park in optimal condition and continue to update our facilities so they are new and exciting for our guests. Our tickets can be purchased discounted on our website, at least a day prior. While some of our rides were scheduled to open late, others are currently having an annual maintenance performed. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused for you. We hope you had spoken to Guest Services Team to before leaving the park. Otherwise, please email the Contact Us link from the website and include a copy of your park admission.
Thank you,

I am writing about our experience on 1/25/21. You need to buy a ticket , then to reserve a day. I tried to do it on 1/24/21 evening, but couldn’t reserve a day because their website had a glitch . Gave up. Then next day morning, 1/25, saw a deal that no reservation day required. We went there. Ticket booths line was long, ticket machines were pushing tickets with unlimited meal plan (about $500 for three of us). I used my cell phone for online purchase and payed close to $300 with all taxes and fees ( price tag above ticket booth had a sign $109 for an adult and $104 for a child). I don’t know how park looked prior to COVID times, but now a lot of places were either closed, or had limited open areas, or were closing at 3 pm, without any information about it on their map. Because of no information about early closing on SeaWorld app, we missed turtle and manatee area ( if they were open at all) , penguin and pacific point area. We were lucky to feed stingrays. Our 6 y. old was excited. Shark area had tunnel opened only, or you could go to restaurant and look at the sharks. Journey to Atlantis ride and even aquarium were closed. Coaster rides were open , We Were not interested in it. Our daughter enjoyed Sesame Street rides. Some of them were closed at 3 pm as well (kind of a surprise for us, nothing was mentioned about it either). They had several dolphins and sea lions shows, and the only orca show at 5:30 pm. Guess which direction all the crowd from orca show went if park closes at 6 pm? To the exit of course. About what kind of social distancing you can talk when HUGE crowd with strollers, wheelchairs, kids and parents moving to the exit ? Button line: For the price tag about $100 per person , it didn’t worth it. $40 maybe???. Also, they are pushing to buy meal plans with your ticket. For me it is kind of a red flag that there is nothing or little to do, :-(.

I decided to come here with our family of 4 for the first time. First, I get tickets to the park, second, I paid extra for our quick que tickets, upon arrival, the agents were clueless and asked us to go to the guest relations because they said we needed our quick que / vip tickets. After standing in long lines, we later learned that we did not have stand in line after all. We purchased tours... upon arrival there is hardly any help to direct you or explain on where you go for your tours. We missed our shark tour bc we were told by one of the booths to go to the the shark encounter area for our tour and yet no one was around to assist us to tell us where to go. For this reason, I would not return or recommend this place. They are highly disorganized, lack customer service, and would not refund us bc it was not properly explained to us on where we needed to be in the first place. Close to 800 for our day for a highly lack luster experience. When you try yo go to the shoes. They are fully booked, so we pay a premium to enter only yo be told they can’t seat us or direct us. It is a strong never again for me/ family or recommendation to folks to come here. Had they simply done the right thing to fix it I would not have been so compelled to to write this review.

I have a love hate relationship with SeaWorld. I love looking at the sealife and learning about them. My son loves them, too. Their annual pass is worth it for the benefits. Their roller coasters are fantastic. They have a great children's area.
Now, their indoor rides are...bad. Some of the rides closed down because of Covid, but other than somewhere with AC or to control crowd control, their indoor rides are just so bad you barely miss them if you've been on them before. Waiting 35 minutes for Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin is even too long. It's so short and not worth any longer than a 20 minute wait. SeaWorld really has to improve their indoor ride game.
SeaWorld souvenirs and food are severely overpriced. I'm thinking since they don't get the same attendance as other Orlando parks, they need the revenue somehow, but $3 more for a cheeseburger and fries that's less quality isn't really appealing. I've also been pushed to buy a separate meal for my kid when my child was 2 because they discouraged sharing plates.
In Oct. 2019, I was also physically pulled to a tent by some people with SeaWorld badges, but pushing hotel stays. They wouldn't tell me what it was for until I handed my annual pass and ID. I thought it was a free item or special, nope, it was to peddle a next door hotel. When I told them I wasn't interested, they tossed my ID back at me and grunted under their breath about how I was wasting their time.
If SeaWorld can improve their flat and indoor rides, I'd definitely suggest it as a decent competitor to Disney and Universal, and right now there isn't enough for people who aren't fans of roller coasters to do. Their customer service is also lacking, but overall, I'd recommend to squeeze as a half day just to check it out especially if your kids are into sea life. Eat breakfast before, have a snack in the park, then head out of the park for a late lunch.

Normally Sea World gets 5 stars from me and I understand that some things have to change, BUT... there are some things you need to know before going in these post COVID times.
1) You MUST wear a face mask/covering all day and everywhere, except when eating or in one of the multiple mask relief areas that are located off the main paths. You will be screened for temperature before entering the park.
2) On July 1 only 1 roller coaster and 1 water ride were operational. Because of the limited number of visitors the lines were manageable. I was disappointed that more rides weren’t open. Even the “experiences” to get to some of the animal exhibits were closed. No explanation was given.
3) The animal shows and exhibits were all open and fabulous as usual. If they hadn’t been the day would have been a bust.
4) The only major FAIL that concerns me is that no one was wiping the eating tables after people vacated. You remove your own plates, trays and trash then then next people sit down. The restaurants are the only places you can have your masks off. They are keeping the toilets and other areas super clean so why not wipe tables between uses? Take your own sani wipes.
5) When booking online note that Mondays and Wednesdays the park closes at 6PM. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 9PM.
6) Get there as soon as the park opens. Don’t pay for upgraded parking. With the limited number of visitors main parking is just fine.
7) Loved the park, hope they get more of it open soon!

What does a guest with disabled parking placard do to park at seaworld orlando?
Written November 12, 2024
Just be sure they see it at tolls. They will put an appropriate color piece of paper under wipers. Generally there is someone in parking lotton.direct you to the parking area. If not just look for disabled section.

Hi I want to buy a two park ticket. I see there is a free shuttle from orlando to tampa, but not from tampa to orlando? we will be staying in tampa first and doing bush gardens first. Is the shuttle just at bush gardens? Do the shuttles just drop people off in tampa than head right back with people to orlando?

Hi, are backpacks allowed in the park. If so, where would you put them if you didn't have anyone on the side to hold it for you?
