So much beauty! The beach was not too crowded, and the water warm. Manatees were swimming just 5 feet away from us.

When the wind blows from the east, the smell is gone. On other days its smells and there are dead fish all over the beach. SAD

We love the drum circle at Sunset on Wednesday nights! It’s such a great vibe with lots of camaraderie and dancing! And the sunset is gorgeous!

SHHHH ! This is a Secret Gem of a Beach!

At the extreme risk of upsetting all those who love going to Nokomis Beach and want to keep it a secret ... But because of all the great reasons we really love this beach I will tell you the beach is beautiful, the beach is NOT crowded and best of all like many of us, we love the great shelling on the beaches here .. ( Shhhhhh ! )

Really great beach with quality water and quality sand. No pier or restaurants which keeps the tourist/drinking crowd down. The drum circle on was awesome! We spent a month in Nokomis and most nights after work we would go to the beach with two chairs and a little cooler to watch the gorgeous sunset. Best month of my life that I can recall. It brought us closer to each other and closer to spirituality. I miss it terribly and would move there in a NY minute.

Beautiful beach!! Most go. Beautiful sun sets. Nice sand at the beginning of summer. Take snacks! Bathrooms are near by.

Water was beautiful, a bit to rough for us to get in but we still enjoyed it very much. So many beautiful shells too.
