My daughter walked and jumped all around in this old fort for years. Not so easy to watch. This is another VERY historical place to visit. Wear your very comfortable shoes!

It's just and old foundation now but it is in a great find in a city park. I would check it out if you're walking around Canal Street or the Saturday Farmers Market.

Do something different during a typical beach day. Love the history. Glad I discovered this on my second visit to New Smyrna beach. Just a nice little break from eating, shopping, swimming and sun bathing.

Apparently, many people are confused about what this structure is. Having been there many times it has plaques all over it from different time periods, so it's easy to understand. That's what's confusing. Trying to help shed... More
