Trimble park was nice. You could walk on the boardwalk and see all kinds of animals in Lake Dora. We saw different types of cards and an alligator. What we didn’t like was the moss hanging from the trees. That kind of gross this out.

We took our two lab dogs and spent 3 days on our motorcoach in the RV portion of the park. It was wonderful. Beautiful lake views, lovely walking trails, and lots of bird watching. I highly recommend this county campground. No sewer hook ups, but...More

Great place to come for short walk with dogs. Other reviews mentioned Nature trail was hard to find so had to wander a bit following their directions to find the start. Finally found a park map as I was leaving. Included in this review. Nature...More

Near to Mount Dora, but definitely off the radar, Trimble Park offers scenic views of Lake Beauclair and Lake Carlton. A great boardwalk has benches for watching the wildlife on Lake Carlton. This is a wonderful place for a picnic, a hike or camping; and...More

We were looking for a nature trail where we might see birds plants and perhaps animals indigenous to the area. This was really a pleasant area alongside a pretty lake with nice boardwalks and benches. We walked nearly two miles of flat trail. Well worth...More

We camped four nights in the park - booked early and got a lake-front site across from the restrooms. The lake was wonderful - gallinules, great blue herons, ibis all feeding in the water just feet from our picnic table. We launched our kayaks from...More

My favourite Park in Florida. It's on a small peninsula jutting out into 2 lakes, which have access to the St Johns River and the Atlantic Ocean. It has well laid out boardwalks through the woods, where you'll see Gators, Bald Eagles, Ospreys, and all...More

This park has a long, meandering boardwalk along the edge of the lake. The park is free and has a large, good looking playground and nice picnic pavilions. There are little boat docks for those who want to put in a boat or canoe on...More

Playground, pavilion, and restrooms are pretty much the amenities here. There is a section for camping, a place to launch boats, a large pavilion, and walking trails. Great for huge groups! This is where we have our annual « corn boil/ church picnic « annually in fact!...More
