Visit Miami’s flagship art museum, and learn about modern and contemporary, international art at Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM). Exhibitions highlight Miami’s diverse community and pivotal geographic location at the crossroads of the Americas. In addition to exploring the galleries, visitors can: enjoy waterfront dining at Verde restaurant; shop a unique selection of art books, furnishings and handmade items at the museum’s gift store; and take in the spectacular views of Biscayne Bay and the elaborate hanging gardens. Designed by Pritzker Prize winning architects Herzog & de Meuron, PAMM provides an educational and civic forum for the County’s residents and visitors alike.

The building is really cool and is truly a sight to behold. Stacks of plants hang from the outdoor ceilings that are several stories high. The views overlook the bay and the port. While we were there, a massive, heinous but mesmerizing Carnival cruise ship...More

This architecturally fascinating museum (60+ hanging green gardens surround the glassy exterior) sits on a promontory overlooking Biscayne Bay. Filtered light and strategically placed windows both highlight the American-oriented (American, in the Western Hemispheric sense) collection and exterior views. The entire space is very open...More

This is a new museum that opened late in 2013. The building is magnificent as are the views. The art on display is a little beyond my taste but interesting nonetheless.

The newly opened Perez Art Museum should not be missed. a Architecturally interesting on its own, it houses a remarkable collection of contemporary paintings and sculptures. Currently featuring significant works of the renowned Chinese artist, Ai Weiwei. Plan to stay at least 3 hours.
