Not one of the safest areas in town and I'd suggest when visiting to use a car service. Besides that, the place is cool, especially at night. It's still what it used to be. A hang out for the younger crowd. The place where you...More

Eclectic area with wonderful art buildings, murals and nice restaurants. It is small enough to just park your car and wonder around. There is no entry fees for almost every art gallery/building.

Wynwood has quickly become a must-see destination. When I first started coming here in 2011-2012 it was all grunge and edges and Counter-Miami. Fast forward 6 years and the edges have all been worn away, the grunge replaced by carefully curated "debris". It's still a...More

We were staying in South Miami Beach and read that this was a very funky and artsy area. Perhaps a bit overrated as there are mostly the wall murals to look at and a few galleries but definitely a great vibe there.

In my second trip to Miami, my family and I hang thru this part of the city. As an Art lover I enjoyed it because it is not only an artistic shelter but also it has some bohemian vibe. We were short of time after...More

I’m a local and native of Miami. I love how this area has turned around and has a bohemian artsy feel to it now. A must do if you’re visiting Miami!

Different styles on different walls, everything telling a different story. Lighting fixtures to blow your mind.. Peaceful area to wander, parking is very cheap.. Unfortunately for most of us, when you get home, it is just blah with no character or inspiration.

3 small blocks of artistic scenery. Was it worth to go there? I don't know.. It's quite a drive from South Beach.

Hi Kelly, yes, Wynwood is safe at night. However, there are currently no hotels within Wynwood. Nearby Edgewater and Midtown have hotel options. Each is only about a 5 minute drive from Wynwood.
