Brevard County Environmentally Endangered Lands Program Central Region Education and Management Center is also the site of the oldest standing structure in Brevard County, The Sams Cabin. The Sams House at Pine Island Conservation Area was created and managed under Brevard County's Environmentally Endangered Lands Program referendum. The referendum was established by voters in 1990 to protect and preserve the rich biological diversity of Brevard County for future generations.

My sisters and I wanted to be outside on a cool but sunny day. Went to the house and hiking on the Pine Island location. We had a wonderful time. Be sure to be near the house at 4 pm when the owls start hooting!

We went here for kids program during the summer.wonderful people ,nice with kids ,place has a lot of historical and interesting facts .nice trail as well ,but not when is too hot
