It had been raining on a daily basis before our walk. Of course, it was much cooler under the lush green canopy than in the full sun. We had to watch our feet to keep out of water puddles along the trail. We did not...More

Heavily shaded, so cool on a hot day. Lots of rain, so wet in many places of trail. Low land and wet.. think biting bugs! The historic remnants of the bridge itself is worth the short hike

A pleasant and shaded walk, this was an enjoyable morning experience. Let your imagination go as you think about how life was back when the bridge was operational!

The trail in is short and well maintained. Easy enough that anyone in the family can do it. Lots of history surrounding the bridge so was nice to check it out. Worthing reading about and going by if you're in town.

It was an easy walk on a well marked trail. Using your imagination as to the folks that came before us. Before bridges, concrete and rest stops (😊) There are information boards at the beginning and at the bridge.

Stopped before state park, nice parking area, restroom, trash cans. About 1/2 mile in to bridge with bench’s on the way.

My parents grew up going there but I had never been. Absolutely beautiful place and neat tour. I want to go back during the day to see and explore more.

The Bellamy Bridge Heritage Trail gives tourists an opportunity to experience the adventures of our predecessors while receiving a guided oral tour. The tour delivers history stretching over various eras. If anything this tour can work as a good ghost tour (good for us who...More

As long as it is not a large fancy stroller it should be fine. Depending on the time of year (rainy season), it can get a little "swampy". It is a trail through the woods, so there might be tree limbs and such that have come... More
