Great place to pull your boat up to and spend a day on the island. They also have food barges, kind of like food trucks, that have anything from Burgers to ice cream to beer, but note: There are no bathroom facilities or fresh water...More

We rented a pontoon boat while vacationing on Marco Island and found this beautiful island in the Gulf. There are a lot of other boats so it's not private but if you're looking for a party...

Stay on the beach at Keewaydin Island. The island offers a few houses to rent. Come stay at the Keewaydin Island Beach Club.

Quiet day there mid week in June. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Marco. Beautiful beach and easy to walk across from lagoon side - liked it far better than Tigertail beach.

Definitely one of my all time favorite places. We beached our small boat alongside other revelers. Picnics, Food Boats, bay on one side, gulf on the other. Floating in the warm waters on our tubes, drifting south and around the end of the key. Walking...More

I've been told you don't need a reservation to camp. Mostly everyone I've spoken to just sets up and camps without one.

The island is free to the public. You need to go by boat to get there. We rented a boat for 4 hours and it was about $250. Rates may be down now that the high season is over.

There's always a food boat from the Capri Fish house that has fish sandwiches, burgers and dogs, etc. There's also an ice-cream boat that often comes to the island that sells the sorts of ice cream bars and pops that you'd... More
