It's always baffled me when you visit a tourist destination where they treat tourists like a disease. You'd think they would realize, in this day and age, that if you mistreat your visitors it will come back to haunt you. The beach was nice, but...More

This was our first visit to Madeira Beach as we normally visit beaches that are much more crowded. Not sure if this beach is normally not crowded or people were scared away by the "red tide". As of August 10th, the red tide was not...More

Sun filled days, less traffic, humidity a bit lower, and a thunder and lightning show just about every night. Sailboats, jet skiers, parasailers, tankers in the distance is the landscape of the Gulf of Mexico. Turtle nesting season and many species of artistic looking birds....More

It was a family 3 weeks vacation. We stayed in condo , at the yacht club and had so much fun. Our 2 yo daughter just loved it. Close to everything, beautiful beach, near grocery stores and pharmacy. Just perfect place for families with kids.

This was our 1st trip staying at Madeira Beach and it was wonderful. It's quiet and clean. Lots to do for dining and shopping at John's Pass Boardwalk. Not a party town. Would recommend for couples or families.

Madeira Beach is located between the "action" of Clearwater Beach and St. Pete Beach. The sand is still beautiful but the beach is much less crowded while still being only a short drive to the busier areas.

Very nice beach. Clean, great for walkers. Many good restaurants and bars. Not to busy a spot to be a problem. Close to Clearwater, Tampa, Dunedin. Nice if you are BlueJays fan. (Spring Training).
