We really loved how this town and area were not over developed with high-rise hotels and condos. They still have them, don't get me wrong, but they are quaint and fun. We rented a home and it was amazing. We walked all over. There is...More

Glad you had a good time. There are lots of things to do right here in Maderia Beach. Some of the few things we recommend...Check out Mad Beach Craft Brewing which is a brewery right on the beach with great food and lots of games...More

Nice beach! Clean, friendly, low-keyed, family oriented. Lots of public parking ($2/hour). Lots of restaurants and shop at John's Pass. Great place for a sunset.

Nice beach, white sand, they have chairs for rent 5 dollars a day, easy access from multiple points. Lots of restaurants and shops up and down.

We visited this beach on Christmas Eve. The sunset was spectacular. The beach is wide, deep, white sand. Close to hotels, restaurants, shopping. So-so shelling with small shells along the tide edge.

Irma didn't do any damage here. Still a nice beach. Lots of soft sand. There is a pay parking lot ($2/hr) with washrooms & concession stand at 151 Ave plus a pay parking ($1/hr) lot with washrooms, no concession stand, at 146 Ave.

Not a lot of people there on a sunny Sunday. We did sunbathe but just walked along looking for seashells, and there were a lot there. Found a few hermit crabs, one was huge.

Nice beach and area. Lots of shells to collect and plenty of dolphins to watch! Looks like this would be a great place to vacation at in the Tampa area.
