A very enjoyable experience. The airboat ride across the lake was fun and critter watching through the swamp areas proved very fruitful. We saw several small alligators and one large one(around 11 ft). Quite a few birds and many turtles. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the boat captain experienced and informative.
I would recommend this tour to anyone with the caution that airboats at speed are very noisy and windy. They provide sound suppressors for those who wish them, and make sure that you keep control of your hats and sunglasses.

Amazing trip on Lake Panasoffkee with Captain Frank.
Captain Frank has a great knowledge of nature and the habitats around Lake Panasoffkee, our airboat ride came with a good portion of "dad-jokes" that won the men over ;)
Captain Frank's jokes were corny but funny. It was as much fun as a prior trip we took at the Everglades.

The captain was great. It was hot so the alligators were not on the surface but he managed to get us views of several in the water and a young alligator resting on a fallen tree. The captain had a great sense of humor and was very informative about Lake Panasoffkee. Being able to hold a young alligator after the tour was a great addition.

I’ve always wanted to go on an airboat ride and I was not disappointed. Monty was a great captain, giving us tons of photo opportunities and turning the boat around multiple times to ensure everyone was able to see and take pics. We saw so many gators and a bunch of turtles. I also fell in love with the resident cat, Cissy.

Very well organized. Capt. Frank gave my son and I (with other passengers) a safe, thrilling air boat ride on Lake Panasoffkee. We were taken around the swamp/spring bayou areas and had the known 200 year history explained to us. He is very detailed and entertaining.
Capt. Frank tried to accommodate everyone’s particular wishes “go faster,” “ do those wide sweeping turns.”
And it was so much fun. We saw baby gators, a 12’ momma gator guarding her nest and turtles, along with local bird species. The woods at the back with the live oaks hanging over the lake with trailing strands of Spanish moss was almost ethereal.
Highly recommended.

Capt. Frank was not only entertaining but very knowledgeable about this area of Florida. This Florida native even learned something new. It was a hot day, but Frank managed to find some shady areas to view nature and share some interesting facts. Plus, it was LOADS of fun. Just do it!

Great ride! Quite a bit different than in the Everglades! Lots of birds,gators, turtles and routes through the forest. Captain Frank was a hoot even with his corny jokes. It was obvious he loved what he did and was very knowledgeable and informative. Just a lot of fun!

We filled the boat with 13 friends today. We had a wonderful and educational time, learning all things about alligators, held a 3 year old alligator while photos were taken and got a great group photo. Captain Todd was very knowledgeable and talked about all the variety of birds that we saw as well as alligators. We saw lots of gators and birds, including an 11 foot gator and lots of babies. We all had a wonderful time and wished that it had lasted longer! We will be back for sure, highly recommended for old and young.

Our Captain, the Cherokee Seminole who grew up fishing the lake was an excellent guide! We're here from Massachusetts looking for something fun. We had an amazing day! Visited Pickles Spring. Beautiful, unbelievable cypress groves! More fun after the ride but don't want to spoil it for you...

5 friends of 30 years -- we take an annual trip every year. Had a great adventure with Captain Frank on August 11, 2024. Can't recommend this trip enough! It's a thrilling boat ride along with incredibly interesting stories and trek through marshy areas where you're sure to see alligators and other wildlife. Truly the highlight of our weekend trip to Tampa. Honestly -- the price of this adventure is surprisingly low. Don't miss out!

We did not wear life jackets when we went. It is a boat for the Everglades so very shallow water. We wore ear protectors. The engine is very loud. There was a little person on our boat with us. I think the father was holding on to her most of the trip. There are alligators so you would not want them to fall in with or without a life jacket. I would highly recommend this excursion. It is beautiful place to visit. It was the highlight of our trip.

Yes, when you make the booking you ride the air boat through the swamp and after it is over everyone can hold an alligator and pose for pictures with it. It was beautiful on the water and everyone got a kick out of holding an alligator.

Our hearing protection is great for any age. We always put our guests first. We have had a lot younger. We look forward to seeing you!

We always go by the weather. Cool mornings with sunshine, we always suggest 10:30 to 3:00. You see more during those hours. Hot days like summer, we always suggest the first 3 runs. You always see alligators on the ride, but some you always see more. We try not to predict the wildlife.

This ride is for all ages. We make it fun for everyone. We have actually had seniors in their 90's who enjoyed the adventure. We have had some that told us it is on their bucketlist. We would be more than happy to have you.
