From the moment we arrived at the camp site it was amazing, holding the adult alligator was surprisingly therapeutic. Th e air boat tour was exhilarating yet somehow peaceful. The boat is extremely fast at tames then stops in the tranquil waters to watch the alligators. We saw alligators ranging from a few months to full size. Including the second biggest on the lake. (monster). A key tip is too stay on the site after your trip, there is the most amazing food and unbelievably cheap prices. This really was a bucket list item ticked off.

We had three small kids of 7, 5, and 41/2 along with 4 adults sign up for a one hour ride on lake panasofkee on a Monday afternoon. Before our ride one of the caretakers brought out a 5 year old 5 foot alligator to hold, touch or get photos of with your whole group and individually while holding it. Cool experience. The we all boarded the air boat for a full hour of speeding over the lads and into channels and water paths to learn of and see alligators and other wild life such as birds, snakes, turtles and fish. We were given statistics about the area and were well informed about our surroundings. Great tour

When visiting a dear friend in The Villages, we decided to take an afternoon adventure to Swamp Fever. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. We held an alligator, went on a wonderful tour of the lake/swamp, and ate delicious food all at the same location. We want to come back and stay in their cute, little lodges. It is family friendly and worth the trip! It will be an unforgettable memory. What a special place!

We were pleasantly surprised with the beautiful location and setting for the tour. Our guide and driver was very knowledgeable and gave us several opportunities to see alligators and other wildlife. The speed of the ride was awesome and the cruise through the swamp beautiful. Afterwards we were introduced to Josephine, a seven year old gator, who patiently allowed us to hold her and suffered through many pictures. All staff were friendly, helpful and very informative. I had been on another similar tour several years ago but this far exceeds the other. We would definitely recommend 😀

A great time had by the family! The staff was excellent. Our captain was the best. We saw wildlife, gators, clear crystal water feeding into Lake Panasoffkee. A must if you are visiting the Villages area.

What a blast! Very interesting tour and our driver was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and surroundings. One of the members of our party was able to check off 2 items on his bucket list: air boat ride and holding an alligator!

This is hands down the ABSOLUTE BEST airboat tour experience you can have in florida! The trail is the most beautiful trail I've ever been on(out of many) The ride through the cypress Grove is stunning & breath taking! There just isn't a ride that has this.kind of beauty to offer every single tour!
The owners & the staff are so friendly; they usually.greet you as.your walking up!
Everyone is very very knowledgeable about the wildlife and have an answer for about any question you have about the area & the things you see! You can even take a quick dip in the spring!
They have gators, Josephine & Wyatt, you can hold and get a picture with & these aren't the little babies most places have!
If you are from out of town you can stay in one of the amazing cabins they have there at Idlewild Park! (An employee showed me the insides of the new cabins)

Had an excellent experience. Saw lots of gators big and small. Plenty of birds, fish and turtles. Great airboat ride by Capt Kyle. Very affordable and spectacular facilities. 30 mins from The Villages. Will definitely return.

We did not wear life jackets when we went. It is a boat for the Everglades so very shallow water. We wore ear protectors. The engine is very loud. There was a little person on our boat with us. I think the father was holding on to her most of the trip. There are alligators so you would not want them to fall in with or without a life jacket. I would highly recommend this excursion. It is beautiful place to visit. It was the highlight of our trip.

Yes, when you make the booking you ride the air boat through the swamp and after it is over everyone can hold an alligator and pose for pictures with it. It was beautiful on the water and everyone got a kick out of holding an alligator.
Will you be open between Christmas and New Years? I have 10 family members coming down from Indiana.

We always go by the weather. Cool mornings with sunshine, we always suggest 10:30 to 3:00. You see more during those hours. Hot days like summer, we always suggest the first 3 runs. You always see alligators on the ride, but some you always see more. We try not to predict the wildlife.

This ride is for all ages. We make it fun for everyone. We have actually had seniors in their 90's who enjoyed the adventure. We have had some that told us it is on their bucketlist. We would be more than happy to have you.
Do the one hour tours get a chance to go fast? This would be a small group of college students that would enjoy spending some of the tour time going at a faster pass. thank you
