You bet it is with Fringe. they creatively pick venues fitting the the theme of the show to stage a production. If you are visiting Key West, check Fringe out.

The Thursday night production of Shirley Valentine was theater stripped to it's bones. And the bones were gorgeous! A one woman play, a minimalist set, a few dozen people on folding chairs in a "pop up" venue in a Parish Hall. Sounds grim? How wrong...More

I can always count on a great experience when I go to a Fringe Theater production! Agnes of God was the third show I've seen this season, and it was incredible. Fantastic talent in an intimate venue! It's no wonder that the run was sold...More

This was my first experience with the Fringe Theater. What a delightful experience! Six short plays during a two hour span....excellent actors, funny and moving. So happy I gave this venue a try....will continue to look for additional shows on future trips to Key West.

Loved "Private Lives." The actors were charming and professional. I was amazed at the amount of dialogue memorized for this play and it seemed that they never missed a cue. Catch a Fringe Theater performance when you're in Key West. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Whatever you do...do NOT see this production. It is the most amateur, poorly done play I have ever seen, and that includes high school productions. There is so much excellent theater in Key West, that it is embarrassing to have this poor example of what...More

Forget the quality of the plays or the talent of the actors, let me tell you what these people do. We went to their showing of A Delicate Balance at the KW Customs House on March 1. For $2, they were selling bottled water, labels...More
