    A Key West Must-Do
You have to stop by Mallory Square for the sunset celebration at least once during your trip. Festive atmosphere with pop up food and drink. It was crowded but not too bad. We were able to sit on the wall along the water and get a great view and great pictures.

Hectic, scenic & Fun: Mallory Square
A great place to see the sunset along with the crowds of people visiting Key West. There are also shops and entertainment. We saw Jase doing his tricks on a unicycle. Plus the sunset was fun. Sadly it went behind a cloud but we still enjoyed it and people watching.

    Sunset
Be sure to go for the sunset celebration. There is something special about so many people standing together to appreciate the beauty of Mother Nature. There was an entertainer in the Square at night who was fun to watch. We also grabbed an ice cream to top off the evening. It is a great way to wind down at the end of the day.

    Best show in town
It's a tradition to watch the sunset from Mallory Square and people SHOW UP!! The place got packed, quickly so grab a seat and enjoy the show. I'm a people watcher so I was able to sort of stand back and watch the crowd. Seats are limited as everyone crowds for a seat along the pier, which is the best view. But it's worth it. The sky was filled with every color of the rainbow and a sailboat or the occasional pirate ship would sail by for the best photo opportunity to take home and remember this day. There were all kinds of street vendors selling crafts, drinks, snacks, doing magic tricks or playing instruments to keep us entertained, as if the amazing sunset wasn't enough!

    Best sunset views of ocean
Lovely sunsets, I can see why it is famous for this. It gets busy at sunset, so get there 30 minutes or earlier if want chance to find a seat on the cement blocks. Best views. Snack vendors and souvenirs available.

Worth a visit simply to see the sunset.
We came here twice out of the four nights we were on the island. It was definitely a nice place to see the sunset. There was a long stretch of concrete for people to sit along. The breeze was nice. It was quite relaxing to wait for the sunset while watching the people on the square and the boats on the water. There were also performers and street vendors. I wish there were more though. I remember at least a few vendors selling paintings, shells with names, and jewelry. There were also vendors selling conch fritters, hotdogs, popcorn, and snow cones. There were 2 performers - a juggler "on wheels" and a musician (that's it). And there was also a preacher speaking on salvation. Farther away from the water but still on the square was a souvenir shop selling shirts, mugs, ornaments, magnets, etc. I was looking for a rooster shirt and found one there for $11. I also purchased a simple rooster mug. The souvenirs were reasonably priced. Next to the shop was a bar with a band playing Salsa and "Santana like" music. Parking was like everywhere else... expensive ($5 per hour)!

    Another Key West "Must Do"!
Love Mallory Square! This place is awesome, rich in history, one of the best views and great for the sunsets! Saw people enjoying fishing, great for shopping, eating ice cream, people watching and enjoying the sunset. The street performers in the evenings at "Celebration at Sunset" are fantastic, such a great experience!

    Traditional sunset celebration
Every time I come to Key West I have to come to Mallory Square to celebrate the sunset. In the past, the crowd always applauded when the sun goes down. Not last night - but still a pretty sunset.

Fun end to a day of enjoying Key West! Beautiful sunsets with performers doing their thing along the brick square. Great place to take pictures with sailboats on the horizon of sunset.

Mallory Square has an amazing variety of offerings. The street-performers are hilarious and the musicians dotted around the area give such a welcoming ambiance. The water views are hypnotizing. The vendors offer food, jewelry, fortune tellers, and art.

So you go to Mallory Square for the sunset festival only to discover that the daily cruise ships BLOCK 95% of the view of the sunset. Yes it’s that stupid. It isn’t just a tourist trap, it’s entirely completely a tourist trap.

As someone who lives on the west coast of Florida, seeing sunsets is nothing new - but it’s still with stopping in Mallory Square to people watch and see the performers.

I was back on Key West after 15 years to find out that the hotel prices have increased ridiculously, that the inner city is infested with immoral curb side valet parking services for exorbitant prices, that’s it’s to crowded and that it has transformed from a cosy, liberal town to a sort of luna park. Not my piece of cake.

The place to be for a Key West sunset. There is so much going on in Mallory Square for the sunset celebration each and every night. Street performers, vendors, and mother nature’s spectacular performance. Do not visit Key West without at least one sunset in Mallory Square!

This is the go-to place for sunsets in Key West and it didn't disappoint. Lots of people and action going on. Get there early to get a spot or you will have to stand behind others to get good pics.
