Watch the movie before you ride - much more meaningful. Great tour of the canals and tune ocean. Great vies of Key Largo from sea. Pictures of the film shoot as well as from the movie. Trivia questions while on the ride

Cruising on the real "African Queen" boat is a treat for all Bogie, Hepburn and Huston fans. The boat is wonderful, historically accurate to the time it was built (1912 I think) and to the movie, so quite fascinating to watch operate. Our captain was...More

How cool is that to see and experience the vessel used by Bogart and Hepburn in the movie African Queen. Short canal rides are available a few times a day. Let your mind wander when visiting.

It was a real kick to ride in the actual African Queen and learn about its history. It is still steam-powered! My only complaint is that the captain should have a microphone as it was very hard to hear him, but I don't know how...More

We enjoyed our cruise on the African Queen especially because of its history. Our Captain was very informative and fun to sail with.

This is a must do if you are in the Keys. It's the actual boat. We got to stir it and get our pictures taken. Went a little ways out into the Atlantic. Wonderful experience. Captain Johnny took good care of us. My 90 year...More

Took an afternoon cruise on the restored African Queen. I had seen her years ago in Key Largo, on land, pre-restoration, and as happy to learn of the restoration. The cruise takes about 1 1/2 hours sailing both canal and open sea. Propulsion is steam,...More

Just the most nostalgic and laid back cruise on this 1912 steamboat, allowed hands-on tiller/helm. Captain Dave gave us great & humorous anectodes of the filming with Bogey & K.Hepburn. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

For starters, you should watch the movie as it's a classic! But if you haven't it's still a fun and historical trip. Johnny was a great captain. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the boat and all of it's mechanics and also very...More

We had 4 people on our cruise. I think the sign said 6, but just knowing how tight a fit it is, I wouldn’t want to be with any more than 8.
