It was a trip down memory lane for me. Simple, pure old Florida fun. You need at least 3 hours to enjoy it. I liked that it was a bit hokey. Go see Lu the 58 year old hippo before he is gone. He has...More

Pleasantly surprised by this wildlife park. This experience gave us everything we were hoping to see on this trip all in one place. Manatees at feeding time, colorful birds, boat ride, tram ride, an up close visit with Florida's own resident hippo and much more.

We spent a few hours at this park, and we were pleasantly surprised. This park is not much to look at from the main entrance on route 19. The cheesy manatee statue shouldn't keep you away, though. There are two ways to enter the preserve,...More

A nice place to go see some native Florida animals. You can get to the park entrance by boat, tram, or walk from the visitor center where you pay the fee. Since it was raining off and on some of mammals stayed under shelter. Birds...More

Great collection, don't get hung up on just seeing the mannatees, there's so much more to see here and (apart from the hippo) they're all genuine Florida natives. You can get really close to most of them too. The highlight is the underwater viewing room.......More

Beautiful park, super easy to get around even with my father in law who required a wheelchair. Underwater observatory was so cool! Leisurely boat ride. Wonderful relaxing way to spend an afternoon enjoying the Fla sunshine. Staff was friendly and the price was so affordable....More

In the past I had only come here for the Christmas event they do every year, but I actually came by and did the animal portion this time. Especially if you have kids, you could spend hours here. They weren't doing the boats because of...More
