Park nearby and walk back to the memorial along the road. It is quite nice. Looks like a lot of thought went into the making of it and what it is standing for. Salute whomever did the project.

We noticed the Veterans Memorial, when we were passing through Old Homosassa...Very impressive. There was a small gathering Monday Morning for their Memorial Day Service, which was nice to see people attending.

Yesterday we saw a group of people working on it as we drove by so we decided to stop and have another look. A memorial service is planned for May 28'th. It is beautifully maintained and in immaculate condition.

If you are looking for a big splash, keep on driving. This is a small, humble and powerfully moving spot at the intersection. It is worth the stop.

A memorial to those who gave their lives and to those who served in our Nation's wars. A very nice and well maintained memorial that deserves a visit by anyone traveling through the area. Several statues and memorial plaques dedicated to the memory of our...More
