Took a group of 13 kids ages 5 to 10. Very interesting, loved our tour guide. The kids really enjoyed the fun games, making rope and trying to rope a cow!! Definitely will go back!

This park was used to host a family campout for families in Polk County. There were many historical items that helped make the campout interesting, & educational. It's also nice just to visit to look at the historical village.

Great visit there, the old buildings were very interesting. The buildings were pretty authentic with there furnished rooms. Lots of volunteer guides to answer questions.

Visited this area for a friend's wedding location. Gorgeous grounds, very well kept. Bathrooms available as well. Very nice historic buildings to check out. Looked like a nice place to bring the family for a day out exploring.
