Better to see from afar, we saw it as we were on the trolley tour and when we drove by. It is only open for limited times and you must reserve a spot beforehand. For us it was enough just to see it and learn...More

This place has a unique history so just seeing it was cool for me but talk about inadequate signage! WHOA! It should be described as having NO signage. We were biking around looking for it and happened to see it through some trees. And even...More

Meh. Its a lighthouse. It is almost never open. There isn't much to see. You can kill a half hour there max. its hard to find in the back of a neighborhood hidden drive among trees and houses. if you have nothing else to do...More

The best view is from the park across the marsh. You cannot drive up to it as it is an active lighthouse and has a fence around it

This is an interesting historical landmark on Amelia Island. However, the entrance is situated very awkwardly in the middle of a residential area and the hours for visiting are very restricted. I would like to rate this attraction higher, but will need to see it...More

It was neat to see, but hard to find. And, they only give tours on 2 days a month. I wasn't lucky enough to get a tour. Disappointing.

We were really disappointed since we are lighthouse stalkers! In anything I have ever read about this lighthouse never once did I come across literature that stated this was located in a neighborhood, with no one on site to talk with about it's history, or...More

After following the signs, we discovered the gate closed. We called the number on the sign and found out the place is only open on Saturdays and some Wednesdays, just not the Wednesday we were there. Bit of a disappointment as you cannot even get...More

You could see it from the road, you could see it from the river on the cruise, but could not get close , not too much information found on it, except the river boat captain told us that it was on Cumberland Island and disassembled...More
