Driving from Hobart to St Helens, we found this lovely farm, vineyard, and new cellar door restaurant out in the Tasmanian countryside. Wines were good, food was even better. Two guys were cooking in the corner of a large vineyard tent: local lamb souvlaki, delicious...More

I visited this cellar door back in 2007 and nothing has changed... Same cellar, same label and that same quality wine. What can I say....drinking spring vale pinot noir since then.

This was the first one to visit and also one of the best bit to say the best. Great talk with the person helping us. Telling and explaining us everything about wines in Tasmania. A must go if you want to visit some wineries.

We loved tasting the most beautiful wine in an awesome venue with so much to tell. The man behind the bar made our visit memorable with his knowledge and humour. Well done Springvale.

The cellar door is in a stable/ warehouse which make this a unique experience. Rodney the owner also doubles up as the cellar door manager and is very informative. They do high quality wines from whites to reds. Stand out was the reserve Chardonnay, Gertztraminar,...More

Being local residents we have been to this winery several times (on our own and with visitors) and also to the restaurant on two occasions. The wines at Spring Vale are exceptional. Tried the Gewurztraminer today and will be back for more, however, on both...More
