The Broward County water taxi to and from the island from Sullivan Park is short, but feels like a real adventure. After a short ride across the intercoastal waterway, we docked and stepped off the boat on to Capone Island. There are walking trails that...More

Had a nice Saturday morning walk around the island after riding over to the island via pontoon. Clean paths and pretty flat. An easy walk!

Deerfield beach has a hidden gem! Take a free boat ride on the weekend to this hidden hideaway. You won't be disappointed if you like nature.

Easy to get too! Great staff. Awesome boat ride to the island. You're on your own when u get to the island but it's easy to navigate around. We didn't see too many creatures, only a large iguana but it was still a fun trip.

20 minute boat ride to the island, cruising past multimillion dollar homes and some boats in the same price range. The boat crew was wonderful and friendly. The island is pretty amazing; you completely forget you are in the middle of the city. Iguanas, tropical...More

If you don't have a boat you can only go over on Saturday or Sunday when there is a free boat that takes passengers. You have to know when it goes. It does not go often and only holds 12-14 people. The island is lovely...More

We went with a whole group of family members ranging in age from 4 to 94 and everyone had a great time. The boat dock is a little tricky to find but well worth the effort. It is a short (and free) boat trip and...More

A nice little park for a short trip, a picnic, or just a walk in the park! The ferry dock was closed but they had an alternate site, which actually worked out better, because we got a 20 minute tour of the coastal waterway on...More
