We didn't explore this building, but drove by it a couple times. Wish we could have toured it. Just a beautiful old building with striking architecture! Lovely grounds. Love the columns and portico. Very impressive.

This is a real landmark in Coral Gables and what a beautiful building. In December just beside and in their gardens there is a Christmas Market (i think they call it the Christmas park). They have many government services in there, we renewed our daughters passport there.

You will be surprise in our days to meet this great Government Agency.
It feels like you visit old friends. Everyone, just absolutely everyone, from front desk Lady on ground floor to Mayors office and all departments ARE HAPPY TO HELP YOU. And they do great job, you can see it justdriving through the City.

Every year there is an caroling contest for middle school and high school choral groups.
In front of the 555 Biltmore way.
Florida Christian School both Middle and high school have perform each year and have taken away first prize in several categories.

Great time for all the family as well as there's additional fun rides and games and food available in front of the City Hall building.

Though not considered a popular tourist attraction the Coral Gables city hall is a perfect example of Mediterranean Revival architecture,a style used extensively in what's known as "the city beautiful". Since it's prominently located at the west end of the shopping area of Miracle Mile and visitors are bound to pass by it at some point or another I would strongly suggest taking the time to snap a few pictures and marvel at the details of this architectural masterpiece. In my opinion it's one of the Miami area's most beautiful public buildings and fits in perfectly with the area's homes, public areas and other significant buildings such as the nearby Colonnade and Biltmore Hotel.

The City of Coral Gables has a wonderful historic City Hall created by it's founder, George Merrick. It was built in the Mediterranean Revival architectural style and completed in 1928. It is three stories tall, built of local limestone, has a stuccoed exterior, tile roof, central 3-stage clock tower, and a Corinthian colonnade. Well worth a visit.

The family has a house on Alahambra Circle (since 1925) and we know Coral Gables far better than most. It offers many beautiful sights including the City Hall. Very old and unique. Give it a visit.

You can't miss this beautiful historic building at the end of the Miracle Mile. I don't know if tours are allowed since. Had we had more time we would have checked out the inside. I can imagine that it's beautiful.

As an architect, I often visit the Building Department in City Hall, so I have many opportunities to experience first hand this wonderful building. Look at it from the outside, but do step inside to see the stair well and enjoy the art work ofter displayed on the walls.
