My husband and I try to go to this park at least once a month. It has a wonderful boardwalk, but also an open area of scrub land where from time to time you can see a gopher tortoise.

We’ve been here a few times now and as always it was a beautiful experience. They have a small nature center and a lovely boardwalk that leads to some nice trails as well. The vegetation and wildlife are captivating!

This is the best place to explore and enjoy Nature in Broward County. From the boardwalk through the Cypress Dome to the Prairie Overlook to the primitive Maple Walk, this gem has hiking/walking options for various interests and physical abilities.

Fern Forest is a good place to see Florida in a more natural state. Lots of trees, ferns, shrubs. They have built facilities and walkways. They have events, I have been to plant sales, to a wedding with a band.

Hidden away right on a main road. this is a little treasure. The long boardwalk walk under the trees is a delight. The small museum area is nice. Even the bathrooms are nice!

I am so sorry I did not answer. It would have been tough though there may have been a couple of spots to enjoy.
