With hundreds of things to do on Clearwater Beach, the main attraction is still pretty much its near-perfect beach (USA Today readers voted Clearwater Beach "Best Beach Town in Florida" in 2013). Beautiful white sand and clear, shallow water make this beach an ideal playground for families.

Great Florida beach with super sand. Nice restaurants and attractions. Great jazz concerts . Quiet areas plus younger areas. Growing hotel choices and nice aquarium. Close to churches and Publix.

Beautiful white sand beaches, clean, beautiful views, so much for people to do like jet skiing, paddle boarding, parasailing. We never wanted to leave!

We stayed at the Hilton, and did not enjoy how high rise and touristy the area was around us. We wanted a more low key, low rise beach experience, and this isn’t even close. Tourist restaurants everywhere, and not really a chill beach vibe. Crappy...More

Beautiful beaches, numerous restaurants, parking can be tricky. Even on a rainy day there are shops, ice cream places and so many beachfront restaurants.

I was just in St. Petersburg a few days ago. The red tide has not reached those beaches, nor do they expect it to.

Beach is beautiful. There is a boardwalk and parking areas but it will cost you $15-20 for the day. Great beach.
