This is a very nice park with hiking trails and a few exhibits. Its a great way to see what the area was like before it was developed.

Some things were closed due to COVID (like the butterfly enclosure), but it is a great place for a walk. We saw a lot of birds but no gators or any large mammals. There is ample parking and places to just sit and relax.

This was a great trip for a morning walk, overlook, nature walk, playground, and a few animals including a butterfly garden.

Need more time to enjoy this nice park. Had a great first taste of the Rotary Park and we will certainly make a return visit.

There are two sections to this park. The one section is a short hike on a boardwalk through the Mangroves. A very easy hike and ends up at the river. We saw some Osprey fishing and a blue heron flying past. We passed the tower and walked up to have a view of the area. Another day we went to the main area nad saw the butterfly exhibit. We walked around that area as well.

Noticed this park when we stayed in a vacation home in the neighborhood. Walked over on a Saturday and the first we met were two lovely ladies who invited us in to the butterfly house. They took the time to inform us about the butterflies and we also got to meet Captain Redfoot, the turtle who lives there. We had a nice stroll around the park afterwards, and returned with quite a few bugbites. We saw no wild animals, but plenty of birds and lizards.

Attractive little park with paved walkways, a dog playpen, jungle gym for kids, and trails in the wetlands where birders hung out waiting for special picture opportunities. I ran through here during a five-mile outing in the hot sun, but unfortunately some of the trails were too muddy to pass.

Conversely, there was a long dry boardwalk that extended from the road just a few hundred yards from this area – presumably also part of the environmental center. It made for a wonderful morning excursion amidst the mangroves, with white ibis grazing to the left and right of the boardwalk. The walk extended about 300 yards, ending with a T overlooking the bay. Very pretty and well maintained.

Walked the entire park, including all the paths we could find. Very natural surroundings. Viewing tower was closed, otherwise very enjoyable.
