The pier is a great place to visit to watch pelicans, fish, sunrises, and the occasional dolphin. It can get a tad crowded later in the day, but the mornings we visited it we had the place to ourselves. It was a great way to...More

Rented poles for the day great time. Chopping boards and rinse sinks great prices! Wife and I caught saw several fish. Saw others caught 3 sharks, grouper, snapper, cow fish, lady fish and others! Bring a bucket to hold your live shrimp bait.

You'd be very lucky to get parking close by. More likely you'll be parked away in front of the beach and will have walked to the pier. Unless you're fishing or eating in the Oyster Bar, there's not a lot to see or do on...More

A trip to Anna Maria Island is not complete without fishing off the pier. They have improved the property the last few years - even added a couple of swings! We always come here because the fish can't resist the bait. Especially good if you...More

The seashelss along the west coast beaches are,for the most part, dependent on the tide flow. Some mornings the offererings are plentiful, some virtually little but scree. So, watch the surf sites to determine.
