It's just a pillar with some words on it surrounded by flowers and such. It does have a Pokestop, but I probably wouldn't have noticed it were it not for that fact.

Great marker to remember a key figure in US history while you stroll along the boardwalk. Stop a moment to check out this historic hero.

The monument is located off the boardwalk between two properties. Nicely done but largely ignored by the boardwalk strolling public. I would have located it near the bandstand where there is more foot traffic but if you take the time you'll find it.

Keep you eyes open on the boardwalk and you will find this monument. Not what you would expect to find on the Reho boardwalk.

This important striking little monument can be admired during your walk along the boardwalk. It is a very nice accent that makes you stop, look, read and possibly learn a few things about the famous explorer.

Lovely memorial, beautiful broad boardwalk along the shore. Loads of shops for every taste. Fantastic weather, not a cloud in the sky.

Since we're from Brooklyn, a monument to the person who our bridge is named after was kind of funny.
