The State of Delaware has done a superb job of establishing and maintaining this trail. It has woodlands, farmlands, two cities and much more to keep the interests of the bikers and the hikers.

Beautifully scenic, well maintained. They continue to add miles and connect to different areas. It’s now a 18 mile loop from Lewes to Rehoboth. With overlooks along the way and a great brewery on the trail.

Made it just in time for a lovely sunset walk - only went about 1.5 miles before it got too dark. Trail well-maintained. Lovely turns and vistas

This is an unexpected treat. So scenic and many parts shaded so don’t let the hot temps keep you away. The salt marshes are serene and there is an attractive residential area.

You can ride to the trail. You will be on the street, but there is plenty of room to ride and a lot of bikes. After the drawbridge. there is a bike lane on the road which makes it easier.
