White Clay Creek State Park is the best park in Delaware for hiking. There are lots of trails for hiking and biking varying from 1-5 miles. Some of the trails connect with White Clay Creek in Pennsylvania as well.
Lots of easy trails, picnic area, playground area and real Bathrooms!!!! My 4 year d grandson had a great time running on the trails and playing on the playground. The bathrooms were a God send. Even our two dogs had a blast.

We. I certainly hope that wasn't part of my review. White clay Creek Is a huge area. It has several parking lots located in various areas around Newark DE. The only time I know that the areas are closed is from dust to dawn. I mainly visit and spend time there on the weekends. Hope this helps
